Theres also other issues, but thats the big one.

Ah fair enough if you didn't feel ObamaCare was unconstitutional, would you be against it? I'm just asking as someone who lives in a nation-state where we have the NHS, and personally can't imagine, nor would want a situation where we didn't have it.

So insuring your car is in some way less worse than insuring yourself so that you can get medical care when you need to?

If there was no obamacare, would you be insured? Can you pay the ambulance, the first aid personel and a surgeon when you get a heart attack on the city streets? Or should we add those costs + interest to a debt you will be fighting for years to get rid of?

People take the stupidists insurances, but health care aint one of them.

I don't drive. Also, the car thing, is a state level law. The American federael govenrment wasen't meant to have that kind of power. 10th Amendment.

Nah. I'll stick with my individual rights, and limited government.

Depends. If all they wanted to do was regulate, I'd have no problemns.

  5. I'm not a big fan of Obama, actually i'm not a fan at all, but publishing state security information is against United States interests. I'd have no problem watching this guy fry
  6. America ≠ United States of America

  7. fixed. As a matter of speaking however there is no other country in the Americas (that i'm aware of anyways) which has America as part of their country name. Thus i feel America is a justifiable way to refer to the United States in short
  8. It wasn't aimed only/directly/mostly at you. It's just the bad habit of confusing a continent with a single country.

  9. No problem. I know it's not technically correct it's just an old habit which is difficult to break

  10. I think it's universally accepted that America means the USA. And there is no continent called 'America', there are two - North America or South America which are collectively called the Americas

It's a bit pedantic to pull people up for using America instead of the USA, it's only a forum post not a diplomatic agreement or something.

In other news I bloody hope Assange gets released (it'd be cool if someone breaks him out)
He's like a real life V, it's so interesting to watch the leak drama unfold - I wonder what other dirtier secrets wikileaks have - I wonder if they have anything on UFOs.
