2010-12-01 - Melbourne
Tour: U2 360° Tour
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 2
  1. There's a 2 minute pro-shot video of the concert on a website called The Hot Hits.com. It contains snippets of I Will Follow, Sunday Bloody Sunday [and Empire State Of Mind from Jay-Z's set]
  2. The same video is on Take40.com
  3. Mixing it up a little, Bono performed an opera song, confusing fans but amusing us all the same -- and showing off some hidden vocal talent!

    Mixing it up a little??
    Confusing fans??
    Amusing us all the same??

    Who writes this stuff.
  4. I'm gonna throw it out there... I actually really liked Jay-Z's rap on SBS, I thought it brought a really valid, relevant extra political element to it. And his set rocked. I totally blame him for the state of my arms/shoulders today,.

I agree Sonia, Jay Z surprised me last nite. The inner circle had a great time in his set.

Btw, how did we not meet? I'm sure we bumped in2 eachother sometime in the day. I was the 1 who organised the lines and gave out the lollies!!!!

  6. Surely if I was a fan I'd know the song. There was a reason half the crowd was singing along to it too.

Then we totally met. I was number 210. Good job with the line, btw, Were you "green hat dude"?
  8. Sonia, why were you connected on your other account yesterday (sonialastrega)? It seemed so strage seeing posts of yours without your instantly-recognisable avatar Are you attending tomorrow's show as well?

  9. No i was wearing a red Lonsdale shirt and red shoes!
Im pretty sure Tim was the 1 with the hat on and a U2 shirt, he along with me were doin most of the hand numbering.

LOL. I didn't even realise I had signed in with that old account. I was on my phone and the mobile site doesn't show avatars. Oops?

I'm already back in Brisbane, so I won't be at tomorrow's show. I was pushing it to take yesterday off, considering my workload right now. As it was, my plane was delayed and I was late getting to work. But I'll be at both Brisbane shows next week, even though it's cost me some cred at work. Are you going to be in Brisbane?

You know, I reckon I saw you doing the lines - I did see someone of that description there.

Were you ever at the gates where you needed a number to get in, and that was near the green pole things at the front?

(uploading all my best shots too).

  12. Kate Miller. Obviously no idea what she's talking about.
