1. .... than an outdoor concert? I want to know because I'm wearing earplugs at the first Sydney concert.
  2. The 360 shows are the loudest gigs i've ever attended by any band. The volume is incredible
  3. It obviously depends on where are you located at the stadium, but... Yes, they're pretty loud.
Earplugs can be useful if you're on the GA, close to the big speakers on the Claw.
  4. My ears were ringing for hours after Wembley! All the fun of the fair.
  5. I wore earplugs on the front rail of the outer circle. No earplugs in the seats though.
  6. I thought I would have had ringing for a few days afterwards, but strangely enough I could hear fine.

It probably means I'm having some kind of saving grace before going completely deaf.

I felt exactly the same. Everyone says they have their ears ringing for some hours/days after the rock shows, but I haven't had that feeling not even once (and I've attended dozens of shows - and always have been pretty much close to the band, stage and speakers)... Which probably means I won't be able to hear in a few years. Long live rock music

The loudest show I went to was Korn last night as support act for Guns N Roses. If people thought U2 was loud, they needed to be there.

I refuse to go deaf before Joe Perry comes to Australia.
  9. How was Guns Drew?

  10. It was awesome as you'd expect - pyro, piano and packed. That's the band that needs to get their arse in a studio. Axl was happy to be there, to see people actually wanting to see him and cheering for when the stuff was played that a lot of the crowd didn't know.

I'll get some photos up eventually. Oh and best of all - they came on 25 minutes late. Not bad considering Townsville got two hours late. He can make himself early if he wants as seen in Sydney - five minutes early and Adelaide - 25 minutes after. That 25 minutes was doing the stage as well, so not bad. And they went for nearly three hours.
  11. Nice one, sounds better than my gig anyway
  12. I was once at a Oasis concert in the front row and i was deaf before a week
