  1. Greetings All!

    I know that there are well over 1,000 bootlegs in the mix out there. Does ANYONE have them all on hard-copy? I'm hoping to get them all, just as zip files, to do a massive setup of U2 bootlegs for my collection, and that of course would be quite tedious and time consuming to download....hoping that some has done some of that legwork already and could work something out somehow?

  2. I have it, and a few years ago I burned them all on DVD, but it took like 20 to 30 DVD's.

    There is no easy way, you just need to download them all. Makes it fun too, otherwise it isn't exciting It's not really collecting then.

    Using a fast connection you can do a tour a day if you are motivated

    Sounds like a really good idea, might have to invest in an external hard drive.

  6. Thanks all! I'll try downloadthemall....how does that get around RapidShare? Or doesn't it? Perhaps I'll answer my own questions when I try it!


  7. Definitely. I had to get one. Bootlegs were eating into my internal hard drive space and only had about 5 or 10 GB before I got the external.

    It's obvious that a Rapidshare premium account is quite useful when you have the intention of downloading all files With Rapidshare premium accounts you can enable 'instant downloads'.
  9. Okay, so I've got "downloadthemall" installed....how do I download, for example (since this is where i left off) the War tour?


  10. I started off with the Boy Tour last night , just keep a log of what you have thus far, i presume you have them all stored in one place in seperate folders? and just go from there, individually going into every show and downloading as many at once.

    With the Rapidshares, i just individually downloaded those and not in the allatonce section.

    To keep that fun factor in, i'll probably go a tour at a time, sit on the Boy Tour for a week or so, have a good listen, dump them all into my MediaMonkey, make sure they all have cover art etc.
  11. I;m still not sure how this "downloadthemall" works....it seems that I'm still ending up at the Rapidshare page....any help?


  12. I'm on the Boy Tour, and most have Mediafire, perhaps just leave all Rapidshare's alone for now, jot down which ones they are, go with every other show, then perhaps buy a months subscription with Rapidshare and finish them all off later on, might be your best bet.
