1. Or you know... for the first time, for real. That thing with just Edge and Bono doesn't really count, does it?

    1) It is as relevant as it was in 1987. Many dangerous men out there misinterpreting religious ideas.
    2) No one remembers the 1989 case. Time to move on.
    3) U2 says that the fans want to hear the hits. Play this song to any apathetic crowd and it will rock the house. You need to give the songs a chance.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Amen to this
  3. Maybe not a masterpiece, but I'd welcome it before another COBL and Elevation.
I said before that A Man And A Woman is the perfect song for the acoustic set, but we're already 3 tours late.

You are right masterpiece is not the right word. But they should have played it more than they have.
  5. I think it worked very well live.

3 tours late doesn't need to be a death sentence for a song, though...look at Electrical Storm and Your Blue Room on 360! Admittedly those songs did not stay around very long...
  7. Someone probably already came up with this, but what about them recording Boy again, maybe with some lyrical changes, and then call it Man? Instead of a completely new album called Man... Cause I think within that last concept, they need to feel like they've got perfect songs, which is impossible.

Bono wanted to re record Boy I think.

A nice idea but it would be terrible I think. You just can't recapture youth. I imagine they would over produce a lot of the songs and slow them down too much.
  10. definitely would love to hear exit return! such a powerful song

Well that's the point. They don't need to recapture youth. On the contrary.
Just had the idea when listening to Twilight... Boy meets man.
