1. Angel of Harlem was an absolute banger in 1992. Fans went crazy.
  2. Note that a big big % of them had become fans during the JT/R&H era so the JT and R&H singles obviously went down very very well among them. And also, during the 2 first legs it occupied the same position as New Year's Day from Aug'92 on: the first "oldie" after the initial run of 8 Achtung Baby tunes. It was just bound to get a great reaction!
  3. Little Things is the best song of the last 19 years at least.

I never would have believed that those 2 would be played a handful of times, and just as b-stage fuck off songs. I saw them play California, and of all the new songs it probably got the best reaction rom the crowd, and they played it flawlessly. And that was the last time they ever played it!

I also didn’t think Raised by wolves would get played much, if at all! Shows what I know!!
I thought California & Volcano were among the 4 weakest on the album; Sleep Like A Baby and This Is Where You Can Reach Me being the other two. That opinion was true in 2014 and it's still true 5 years later! I was okay that I didn't see them.
  5. Wanna hang out? We might get banned

You were right with California and Volcano, but definitely deserved a ban with Sleep and Reach
  7. This is where you can reach me now is a truly great tune
  8. If we can count Mercy tho............

Here's a thought: Mercy had better be on U2's last album and it had BETTER be in its original form (or close to), or we riot.
  9. Mercy is overrated as is Crystal Ballroom. There, I've said it and will have to take the flack now.
  10. Agree with CB but Mercy is masterpiece
  11. Mercy and overrated cannot be in one sentence :-)
  12. For me those are one of the best tracks
On SoI. Just not into every breaking wave and songs like that. Realy dislike that kind of U2. Half of the last albums has those, for me, crap u2 on it, with among the worst songs Lights of home ?

And mercy is overrated, not even a b side. Bit hysteric singing by Bono.

More into the darker u2. Sleep like a baby is what’s worth it nowadays
