1. I wouldn't call that a proper, final version. It's not even done in the studio lol?
  2. Is it just me, or does the (guitar) intro to the Kings of Leon's new song Coming Back Again (and most of the guitar work on the track) sound it like would have fit nicely onto Boy?

  3. Hahaha, you're so right! It has a distinctive Stories For Boys / Out Of Control feel to it
  4. On The Chin has a distinct intro that reminds me of U2, too.
  5. Even the drumming too.. They were surely listening to Boy when recording that track
  6. Their last two albums sound a lot like U2, on the previous album the song The End starts almost the same as Bullet The Blue Sky.

I didn t know this song ..sure fit in Boy ..specially the first part is very Boy
  8. U2 should do an acoustic set. Like MTV unplugged.

  9. ...remember back to the Vertigo tour, I think i remembered something about them having some studio work / time booked during the last leg.... however that leg was then postponed......

...off the top of my head, I don't think they've ever recorded/produced a song based in Sydney.
  10. Something from the Window In The Skies single surely.

Yep, they were going to record back in March 2006 and I'm sure on the 360 Tour they were going to record something too as Paul McGuinness re-iterated.

    This from Wikipedia:

In mid-1990, Bono reviewed material he had written in Australia on the Lovetown Tour, and the group recorded demos at STS Studios in Dublin. The demos later evolved into the songs "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses", "Until the End of the World", "Even Better Than the Real Thing", and ''Mysterious Ways''.

The article it mentions - October 2001: 'Not Quite Better Than The Real Thing' written by Q Magazine mentions nothing about recording in Australia.
