1. Stingray was pretty cool live imo. Quite heavy. But not suited as intro.
Anyway thumbs up for tyring it. Coming back after a cancelled leg and opening with a brand new instrumental song for thousands of people = balls.

And they should have released it as instrumental. I love it more than Lucifers Hands.
  3. anybody expecting to hear anything different?
  4. I think the first few shows will be pretty standard as the yplayed in the USA. After that we may get a few new oldies thrown in...Hope so
  5. Watching a Streets clip from 2011 - the smile on Bono's face every time the riff kicks in... what it must be to a) have written such an incredible song, b) to be able to play it show in, show out, and get that buzz every time.

    That's what it's all about.
  6. I've been spinning Another Time, Another Place pretty much non-stop since i got it haha. Side 2 is by far my favorite with my favorite version of An Cat Dubh-Into The Heart I've ever heard. So needless to say, I've been obsessed with old school U2 lately because of that LP, and also because of the theme of the current tour. So I basically have a playlist of U2 (live and studio recordings) of pre-Boy until October and I've been listening to that playlist a lot, but somehow some 90's U2 slipped into the playlist and it is absolutely incredible realizing how good this band is. Basically this is how the playlist just ended up:
    Gloria
Electric Co. (Live from Marquee Club)
    The Ocean
    Zooropa
    Boy-Girl (Live from Marquee Club)
    Mofo (Live from Mexico City)

When you get an unexpected dose of 90's U2 while listening to songs from only 1979-1982, it sounds insane haha. Kind of a random post, but listening to Zooropa and Mofo blew my mind in a way it hadn't before. I wasn't prepared for it haha!
  7. I totally get what you mean. It sounds like a completely different band. And still people thinks all U2 songs sound like WOWY and Pride
  8. Random thought:

The lyrics of Bad, do you think it says: "in blue and black" or it says: "in gold and white"?
    I've heard it both ways.
