    Is that official or just someone's wishful hoping? If so, South Africa could get one hell of a show. About to go off-topic but it relates to this in some way:

    I noticed in Melbourne there was a song there played by the crew - 'cos it sure as hell wasn't U2 on that stage rehearsing - that I'd never heard. It didn't sound familiar and had a kind of rock sound to it, a bit like Vertigo but it wasn't. I wonder if that'll get played or rehearsed, whatever it was. It could have just been testing the equipment too, but I was curious if I'd ever hear it again.

    Nobody else recognised it either and in that soundcheck of about 45 minutes, I recognised everything else instantly. If that is played I'll know it straight away.

    Even if it's true and even if it's not the crew, I'm glad I didn't make it down there. The idea alone that Kite might get played again makes me wanna burn everything affiliated to U2.
