1. I said it, and I hate to say these type of things. Breathe was a solid opener, which was removed for Return of the Ping Pong Guitar. I like how the early 8-11 slots usually have one or two rare or new songs thrown in. WHY ON EARTH DO THEY PLAY "CRAZY(remix)," I have no idea. First of all, some fans have been begging for a song from "Pop" to play. Second, this "Crazy" remix crap sounds like a "Pop" Imposter. Even though the original sounds like "Walk On's" lazy cousin, I'd take the original over this crap in a heartbeat!

I guess the best thing, is that U2 doesn't make many mistakes in my eyes. I am a total die hard fan. The only artist I like better is Prince, and he is a total nutjob who makes dumb decision after another to totally stomp on his reputation. Prince would play 8 songs like "Crazy Remix," if the mood struck him without thinking about it....but I still wish U2 would remove this from the set list. The joke was funny the first few times I saw the tour, but when I saw the Turin setlist, and saw that TUF was taken away, yet this garbage remained, I was in shock!

Songs Better than Crazy I'd like to hear: Breathe, Zooropa, Wire, Real Thing, The Electric Co, Please, Gone, Last Night On Earth, TUF(bring it back!) Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car, Acrobat, So Cruel, In God's Country, NLOTH...and the list could go on and on...

Songs to remove or avoid: Crazy Remix first, Stingray Guitar, SBS, NYD, Pride(Pretty much they have removed this triple threat of early 80's songs, but am sick of them.) Get On Your Boots, Unknown Caller(perhaps the worst chorus of any U2 song)

Songs to continue playing: Magnificent, Ultra Violet, Stuck In A Moment or In A Little While, With Or Without You, Mercy

Ok, so a rambling post by me, but U2.com will not allow me to post there, and it is not like I am
all that negative there. I try to be truthful, but they never let me post. Of course, somebody else is allowed to ask them to have the courage to play some songs from Pop.
  2. Opinions dude
  3. I really like the title to this thread.
  4. I definitely don't agree with your choices on what songs should be removed and kept. But I can agree on that I think they should drop this song. I don't like the album version, and I don't like the remix version, and it's getting tiresome. They need to drop it and rotate some Pop tunes in there (Mofo, Last Night On Earth, Discotheque). Just rotate those 3 songs in Crazy Tonight's place and the show would be loads better. The show is already amazing, and it can only get better, and this change would do that.
  5. Haha, this is a post from someone who takes him/herself too serious.

It's impossible for U2 to come up with a setlist that pleases everyone in and outside the stadium. So just relax and enjoy it while it lasts. And if you don't enjoy it anymore, just visit other artists' concerts. Problem solved.
  6. Oh, and by the way, I was watching the Brussels multicam this morning and found it so nice to see Edge and Bono jumping up and down and smiling so much when they were playing the Crazy mix... put me in a very good mood.
  7. I like the original and LOVE the remix. So I say keep it!
  8. So, reading between the lines, I'm getting that you're not that big a fan of Crazy Tonight? Thanks for sharing.
  9. Lol.. Turkey

  10. Mmmm...turkey. I really miss the turkey sandwiches you can get in the US. We just don't get them like that here.

  11. Makes me miss Christmas Turkey should be a more common meal in my opinion. And yes, turkey subs a delicious
