To those of you attending this show, have a great time. This very well may be the best one ever. For those of you listening in live, enjoy the setlist party...I suppose I could neglect my kids for a few hours.

In the same boat man. I happen to have family coming down, and they'll be arriving JUST as U2 go on. I'm hoping someone will upload a torrent for a dvd or something.
  2. Looks like it'll be raining during their set.U2 playing to a large crowd the rain ,sound familiar anyone ?
  3. Doesn't sound like Red Rocks since that wasn't a very large crowd, sounds like Zurich 2

Wait really? I checked the Glastonbury website and it said that U2 will be televised live on BBC Two starting at 1:45pm Pacific time and will switch to BBC Four at 2:30. This is for all of those who intend on following their performance online. If I recall, it's a 3 hour dime difference between East Coast and Pacific time. Am I incorrect with my math?

  5. Essentially, you want to get to the website that allows you to stream live footage from the various BBC channels. I can give you a link that goes directly to the page.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/watchlive/

There's a think on the lower right that allows you to switch between the different channels. U2's Glastonbury set starts on BBC Two and then moves to BBC 4.

Can somebody verify that this is correct? I don't want to be giving bad advice.

    Yes, yes and yes

Anyone else having trouble with the Expatshield program? I used to hide my IP before sucessfully, but this "UK masking" doesn't seem to work for me; the BBC's "Not available in your area" messagge still shows (and annoys the hell out of me)...

    Hi Sergio,

I've read a few things here and there - in a hurry (I'm working!) - and found several people saying that it doesn't always work, and that one has to try, try, and try... so I've spent 10 pounds and purchased SimplyExpats for one month instead - apparently it's 100% reliable, unlike the free services. It's awesome: I now have access to the BBC, 24/24! One can also purchase a subscription for the whole year, for 60 pounds. It is not that bad really. If one can make it without paying, chapeau... but I don't really have time, and certainly don't want to miss U2! Good luck!

i tested yesterday evening and worked both at my home and at my girlfriend's

  10. FYI, if you've got Hotspot Shield enabled you'll need to delete/disable it in order to run Expat Shield. HSS won't work for the Beeb because it spoofs you a US IP addy.
