Seriously! "Angry protests disrupt U2 Concert." This gets the headline!?! First off, it was a performance not a U2 concert.Second, did anyone who watched it see a disruption? NO!!

Violence erupts??? Violence?! That's a pretty strong word. A mere 30 protestors trying to inflate a 6 meter (19ft, 8in) balloon were shut down by security. They probably shut them down to prevent them from embarrassing themselves in front of everyone at the Festival.

Some knob over at the Deathstar is claiming he was there and "U2 hired goons" beat up the protesters before chucking them out. I feel he's full of shit, but you know the tabs are going to run with that version.

What they aren't saying is that no one is allowed to raise a 6 metre anything at Glasto or any other festival.
  2. Great set, played it well, thought it lacked a little something, but hey its a festival appearance and not a U2 crowd so on that basis it was a great set.
I'm still not sure about EBTTRT being the opener, just too much of a soft start,The Fly would've been better imo, also didn't think much of Stay and was disappointed Glastonbury didn't get played, other than that they done well.OOC was unexpected and a great way to finish and really enjoyed MOS too.
