  5. thanks everyone. very seriously, I wouldn't know how to walk through this again with all your love and support. It is immense what I get back from you guys, it leaves me without words. Like the first time (oh look we can count already,wth), I thank you from the bottom of my heart

    as tonight and tomorrow football is on, and we all want good times and enjoy the games (:) ), let's not get this too heavy on all of us for now. It's enough to remember this crap after Germany has won the cup on Sunday eve

    however, this morning I called the surgeon whom I met with in the Duisburg clinic yesterday. She had talked to the professor later yesterday about my case and how to proceed things (the prof did the first surgery and will do this one now as well - lucky me, he saved me once and is the best choice to do it again, I believe).
    On Wednesday I will "check in" at the clinic, they will do all those pre-.surgery checks during the day then (CT, blood samples, ECG, etc). Thursday morning the surgery will be done then. They will open my head above my right ear (don't even begin to imagine that, I don't). then enter underneath the brain until they reach the fecking bastard tumour and take out as much as possible.
    My case is marked as "urgent", I saw it on the file, as I never go with mainstream, y'know Well, the earlier they do it, the better. I tell myself. However, if everything goes okay, and as good as the last time, i.e. no complications etc, I can leave the hospital within 10-14 days.
    Fingers crossed, prayers said, u2start letter already in the bag

    So much for now. Let's lean back now and enjoy football tonight, everyone real life can wait. A little while


    ps: on a serious note, I am deeply moved by everyone's support, encouraging words, pms and letters. You really give me the strength to walk through this again. I feel a lot of love for you, friends. I swear when I'm back ou of hell and done with this crap once again, a u2start tattoo is due. Remember my words Now, off to see Portugal kick some Spanish lads' butts

    I find quite amazing that you are so positive and optimistic. It really shows us the kind of person you are. There's nothing much to say right now, just keep on being yourself and earning everybody's love and affection. That will keep you and us going.

  10. random observation: I find it very bizarre that the first time I use my new CabinMax bag (meant for the next flight to Ireland) is for this trip now - and I can't help thinking how well all the stuff fits into it. A great buy I did here, well worth the money. Would have been great for some days over on the Emerald Isle
