1. Black Treacle is one of my favorites from their last album. Ok, give a try to Crying Lightning and Library Pictures if you have the time Two of their best from their two worst albums.
And well, most fans agree that their best stuff is in their 2 first albums, so maybe listen to Do Me A Favour and Mardy Bum!
  2. Will have a listen to those. Shame those songs are all scattered which means i have to buy it on iTunes separately if i want them
  3. Well, I have the original albums, I'm sure we can arrange something if you need it
  4. Aren't they going to play Glasto tonight? Wonder if we will be able to see something of it, I can't remember how exactely I did watch U2 2 years ago.

Was it on BBC (1 or 2) ? Or did we have to use a stream from somewhere on the internet?

BBC 2 now, if anyone's interested
  6. They sound fantastic. I'm definitely seeing them for a second time in November. Just remember how amazing they were the last time I saw them.
  7. They ARE fantastic, they ARE amazing.

  8. I've cried with Mardy Bum.

  9. Saw them few days ago here in Croatia, they were great! Middle of the show was too slow, but everything else was good.

I think the slowest part of the recent shows is the encore with the 2 acoustic versions of Cornerstone and Mardy Bum. In fact, the setlist you saw (identical to yesterday's one in Glastonbury) is pretty much perfect in my opinion (well, not really, I mean with the songs they're playing recently. A perfect setlist for me would be the 2 first albums and then go home):

    Do I Wanna Know?
    Brianstorm
    Dancing Shoes
Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair
    Teddy Picker
    Crying Lightning
    Brick by Brick
    Fake Tales of San Francisco
    She's Thunderstorms
    Old Yellow Bricks
    Pretty Visitors
I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor
    Do Me a Favour
    R U Mine?
    Mad Sounds
    Fluorescent Adolescent
    A Certain Romance

    Cornerstone
    Mardy Bum
    When the Sun Goes Down
    505

If they play that set in Rome next week I will be more than happy

  11. Yeah they sure are great, amazing peformance last night. The only thing that irritated me a bit was the light, it just was too much at some songs imo. But the music was great, didn't know mister Turner was such a good live singer.

Can't wait until they come to The Netherlands again, I want to be there.
