1. I am sure we can be patient, Dylan...no need to buy both versions - unless it is YOU that can't wait, of course.

    Auckland: Matt
    Gold Coast: Dylan*
    Melbourne: Dylan*
    Sydney: Nick
    Adelaide: Dave

  2. I'm in no rush for them to be released, BUT once they are out I won't be able to control myself and resist buying the digital copy in the meantime
  3. You also might end up being like some of us that like to keep their CD copies beautiful wrapped up in their original packaging.
  4. Yes, I'm like that with some CDs and a lot of vinyl!
  5. I have been listening to LA 1 quit a bit..I really love the start of this gig...Matt, you might want to add Corduroy from this gig to your mix..EV is in classic form..we all know how defensive the band is with the crowd, after the disaster in Denmark back in 2000....

If we need a boot from Australia Ill grab one , but Id rather buy 2 or 3 from Europe..so maybe I can bow out from the Australian shows if I buy 3 Euro boots ? Matt ?

Also, I still feel Pitt is a top gig from the first leg, which is amazing as it was obviously the first show of the tour...and Sirens is THE version from that show IMO...so pencil that version in your mix Matt.
  6. Milan , Berlin and Stockholm or Norway Ill defiantly grab Matt.....

It's an interesting performance but I might leave it with the show itself...we'll see. Also, I do like an Interstellar Overdrive to start Corduroy when it is an option.

Don't worry about getting an Aussie boot, Ed. It appears that we already have five of six covered - admittedly, the Euro ones will be probably be a bigger deal if only because they are from PJ shows as opposed to them playing a festival...not to take anything away from Dylan's experience but they will definitely be longer.

Pitt is definitely the dark horse for this tour - a great show indeed. Pendulum must start the mix. I do recall that performance of Sirens being one of the best. The performances of this song seemed to do downhill as the tour progressed - especially during leg 2. That said, I do like the little acoustic extension that they added in near the end of leg 1 (and into leg 2).
  8. Realistically, what three shows or so can claim to be the best PJ ever played?

  9. Should we give Ron the option of getting the Milan one?

  10. Very tough to narrow down but it's always fun trying...

From the 1990's (pre-official bootleg era):
    1. Atlanta 1994
    2. Melbourne or Chicago (Soldier Field) 1995
    3. Berlin 1996 (Randall's Island 2 is supposedly better but there's not a good bootleg of it out there.

There are also some great shows from 1992 and 1998.

2000 and beyond (official bootleg era)
    aaarrggghhh...too hard....
....Ed and Ron will say Milan 2000...the MSG shows from 2003 (and 2010) are rated pretty high as are the Gorge 2006 shows...I really like the two Toronto shows from 2011 (no bias here ) ...I could keep going...

  11. By the way, everyone should try this:

    ...and this:

They are (legally) free to download - and are fantastic.
