In all honesty, probably not. I won't say definitely not but I certainly wouldn't want to make a promise I can't keep at this point. Admittedly, if it were a weekend show I might reconsider.

Funny you mentioned the R&R HoF. A did a second look to see if they were playing in Cleveland (which is about the same distance from me as Detroit but I would have to go "under" Lake Erie instead of "over" it). I would rather have gone there as there are other things to do - like the R&R HoF - which has (or had) this ZOO TV cars hanging from the rafters...and they do have the Indians but unfortunately are very good...

Hmmm... the Tigers will likely be playing in the post season....

I shouldn't do this to myself as I attempt to get through "stage 4"...
  2. I'm telling you, Nick, take your fiance to Norway and Sweden for an early honeymoon this July! The $$$ spent on the wedding itself can more often than not be put to better uses.
  3. The unfortunately thing about this tour is that if your going to travel to it, you want to get (at least) two show out of it. It is virtually impossible to do this with these cities.
  4. Let's look st this map:
  5. Now let's look at these dates:
    DATE CITY VENUE
Oct-1 Cincinnati, OH US Bank Arena
Oct-3 St Louis, MO Scottrade Center
Oct-3-5* Austin, TX Austin City Limits Music Festival
    Oct-8 Tulsa, OK BOK Center
Oct-9 Lincoln, NE Pinnacle Bank Arena
Oct-10-12* Austin, TX Austin City Limits Music Festival
    Oct-14 Memphis, TN FedEx Forum
Oct-16 Detroit, MI Joe Louis Arena
    Oct-17 Moline, IL iWireless Center
Oct-19 St. Paul, MN Xcel Energy Center
Oct-20 Milwaukee, WI BMO Harris Bradley Center
    Oct-22 Denver, CO Pepsi Center
  6. I suppose Cincinnati and St. Louis is "doable"... If you are coming from the East, the Tulsa/Lincoln combo makes next to no sense.. I don't know what you'd pair with Memphis...I drove home from Chicago last summer (which is not that far from Moline) and could have gone through Detroit. Moline would have paired up relatively nicely with Milwaukee (maybe) but St. Paul got jammed in between the two shows....Denver might be the most interesting place of the bunch to visit but is nowhere near anything else...

This tour is indeed made for hometown folk in the Midwest.

    Congrats to them.
  7. A moment of "Hockey Jam"...

I know I should be rooting for the Canadiens since I am Canadian but I have Rangers players in my pool and my biggest opponent has Canadiens players. I ask this: How is game #3 tied? I watched the 1st period and it was all Rangers!
  8. Back to PEARL Jam...

Apparently it would be sort of good to live in Iowa this fall (and be a fan of Pearl Jam, of course). They aren't actually playing in Iowa but a playing in five of the six States that border on it!
  9. I live in a relatively orange/brown region on the above map...as do Nick and Ed. The band is playing in rather yellow regions.
  10. I just realized that I am still on stage 3.
  11. Matt you 're a teacher right ?
