1. Report on No Code's second half: Still don't love it. Lukin is pretty intense...Habit is a good rocker...Mankind is solid...

Working on 1990's b-sides right now (not Yellow Ledbetter - know that one very well). Dead Man is great. Was that from the movie Dead Man Walking with Sean Penn? I really like Long Orad - I actually own the Merkin Ball EP. U is a bit lyrically cheesey but good musically. Drity Frank am not so sure about.
  2. From Mike McCready's tumblr:

    ''Busy Week

Getting ready for next PJ record. Songwriting going well. Just ran 8 miles today then had a fundraiser at the Crocodile. I played with Chris Friel Orchestra and we had a Karaoke band that people paid (for CCFA Run in Napa Valley) had about 14 guest singers rocking with us today. Made 2,500 for the cause. Thank you to all who came out on this Sunny Saturday. Mike''

    oh yeah
  3. Dead man had to be in that soundtrack but in the end it was not added, for a Springsteen song i think.
Instead Eddie has a couple of songs there perfomed with someone who i can't remember the name
  4. video of Eddie's “Longing to belong” is released for free on iTunes (and i don't have it )

  5. for free? really?
    edit:

    nomomomom
  6. thanx Ale .. you avoided me searching youtube by myself

very suggestive video .. and Eddie's voice then ...
  7. I've been listening to No Code all week - trying to give it another chance after over a decade on the shelf (aside from a few of its hits)....it's a really good album.

I recently recommended anyone looking to get into PJ start with their 2-CD Greatest Hits collection,"Rearviewmirror." On second thought, I think you'd be doing yourself a favour by gettng all five studio albums from the 1990's and any additional songs (b-sides, soundtrack tunes, ep tracks) from that decade, as well.

    Great, great, great rock music.
  8. giving them a depth attention there are always very nice "surprises"

meanwhile on 10c presale of Ukulele songs and Water on the road dvd

  9. You're welcome
I love the wedding footage [not to mention he looks freaking hot in a suit:X ]

Like the PJ/Mudhoney tour, theres a rumour that Soundgarden will play a gig at the Gorge this summer, and bring Meat Puppets with them.

For Christ's sake you grunge people, stop teasing me and make a world tour all together!
