1. That is almost my ideal set. I'm so disappointed.
  2. Some surprise "usuals" omitted tonight - Better Man and Corduroy come to mind. However, if you are seeing them FIVE TIMES (yes, I just it again) in a month I suppose you wouldn't miss them.
  3. Long Road, Can't Keep, Spin the Black Circle, I Got Id, Baba O'Riley, Fuckin' Up and Brain of J. - songs I need to see before Milton Keynes concludes but that is unlikely.
  4. I'm sure you'll get at least a few of them.

"Spin The Black Circle" is a song I've yet to see them perform live and it ranks it'd rank in my top 5 of songs I'd want to see before it's all over (whatever that means).

Oddly enough, I have witness "I Got Id/Shit" three out of four times I've seen the band - same with "Off He Goes."

That happens. I see people chasing Wash for over 20 shows and I got it 2 out of 3 shows last year.
  6. The only thing I don't like about Pearl Jam concerts is my tendency to "song hunt" - I use the quotations here as I believe it's a phrase that I got from you, Nick.
  7. Lol. True Matt. IMO its the #2 rule when seeing PJ live. Never song hunt or "chase songs". Rule #1 is never go to only one show during a 2 night stand in the same venue. I believe Matt can vouch for rule #1 as well....
  8. Yes, Nick. Yes I can.

Wait a sec....I suppose the fact that you saw two shows in Brooklyn gets you off the hook for only seeing one of the Philly shows last year!?!?

My argument doesn't fell like it's holding much weight, to be honest.

You have a great point Matt and although I didn't miss any "musts" I still regretted it a little after hearing the boot. It was a nearly impossible show for me to attend but I thought of Philly 2 as a bonus show after seeing them twice in Bklyn.
  11. Exactly. Your "must-attend" shows were the NYC ones. Philly was indeed a nice extra.

We learn from our mistakes, I suppose. I kind of regret not being into the band that much in 2005 and 2006 when they played a whole whack of shows in my area but the fact remains, I wasn't nearly into PJ then as I have been since 2011 so I can get over that quite easily. After Night #1 in 2011, however, I considered going to Night #2 but decided against it. I regretted it immediately after I saw the setlist.

I will not allow myself to make that same mistake again.
