He said she shouldn't have trusted him so easily. After some more chatting he told her to "Just Breathe" and a certain song was played. Then Ed's tech went around to have everyone in the band sign on of the shoes with Ed eventually doing so too. The shoe was thrown back into the crowd. It seemed he wanted to keep the other one though... so that he could drink some wine from it. Then the lucky woman had one shoe signed by all of Pearl Jam and one shoe from which Mister Eddie Vedder had drunk wine.
