I have a feeling that Kieran will be glad he gets two more cracks at them in the next little while.

yes i would love to see the IO/corduroy combo. saw lukin/not for you on the GC this year. would have preferred to have that swapped out for a full Save it for later or it's okay though. only got two tiny snippets of those
  6. While were on the topic (and yet another one of my repeat posts)...

Top 5 versions of "Better Man" with a "Save it For Later" tag:
    1. Kansas City, 2000
    2. State College, 2003
    3. Portugal, 2006
    4. Lima, 2011
    5. Manchester, 2012 (I think it's the N2 performance that has the longer tag)

Top 5 versions of "daughter" with an "It's Okay" tag:
    1. Virginia Beach, 2000
    2. Jones Beach, 2000
    3. Toronto, 2011
    4. Winnipeg, 2011
    5. Cleveland, 2006 (or Berlin N1, 2012)

I should also mention the Bologna, 2006 version for Ron's sake.

Haven't seen the IO intro but did get the Lukin/NFY pairing....

I guess I also have witness the Setting Forth/NFY transition...I remember this occurring while I was on a beer run and Not For You seeming to come out of nowhere as I made my way back up (WAAAAAYYYY UP, if I recall correctly) to my seat.
  8. Set was pretty lacklustre but they rocked. The crowd was totally manic, maybe too manic. Vedder had to tame them after Corduroy. Loads of shoving forward going on. Had a little bit of beef with some 'hard core' Pearl Jam fans at the front. They decided to sit down after MGMT but I couldn't because I was squashed. Plus there is the old pushing to the front because they are bigger fans. It is quite an unfriendly fan base if I am honest. When will they learn? Eddie signalled to give me his tambourine during Baba but I just got swamped. I'm sore now and I still have two days of the festival left.

Yes Matt, I am glad to be seeing them twice more after last night!
  9. If PJ was like say...U2.... This would be the set we see EVERY night plus maybe 3-4 other songs swapped in n out... I hate festivals. I will never attend one. Glad u have 2 more shows left.
  10. I mean... 360 averaged 23 songs a night yet this PJ set looks so short on paper! It's so funny how they raised the bar and now easily break 30 songs a night.
  11. Rumour has it that PJ gets THREE hours tomorrow in Belgium so maybe it'll be a bit more interesting to follow from a far. Also, no new songs to the tour were played yesterday thus putting it low on my "bootleg-to-get" list.

All the above said, I don't doubt that it was a good show to watch in person. Lots of rockin' hits performed!

I've been to one festival (Lollapalooza, 1995) which had bands that I liked at the time but didn't love. Anyway, the whole experience wasn't my cup of tea but if there's a band or two (or three) there that you really enjoy, I guess I can see it being a worthy endeavour.
