1. Are either of them any good? Do you have any desire to see them? Admittedly, I've never heard of either of them but that doesn't mean very much.

That said, although it's by no means a guarantee, I don't think I can NOT go.

    I just have to decide:
    i) Do I buy one or two tickets? I am doubtful that I can find anyone to go with but I'd prefer it - if only for driving purposes. If I go on my own, I am renting a car for the day.
ii) Do I get tickets that are still on sale (generally, the ones at "the back") or do I go through Stubhub (booooooooooo!) again?
    and
iii) Which day of the week do I take off? Probably Friday - even if it's to simply sleep the show off in my own bed.

I gotta admit, not a day (no, hour) goes by that I don't consider the options about this show.

    I'm cursed.

Not cursed at all , just a huge fan .

After 4 weeks in NYC , I'm happy to be back here in Boca .

Just so happens DMB start their Florida run next week .

I'm taking the family to Tampa for 3 days . We will hit Bush Gardens , stay in the Hard Rock Hotel and I can actually walk to the DMB gig , as its down the street , next Wed night . Then , DMB are here in WPB next weekend for 2 gigs .

See Matt , not cursed just crazed like me lol
  3. Obviously, "cursed" was a poor choice of words...should of used "crazed"....or "obsessed" ....or "addicted"....or

Not to get to heavy here but I never expected this sort of thing from myself at this stage in my life. I figured my fan-boy-ism would not turn into "fan-man-ism!"
  4. By the way, good to have you back, Ed.

Both are quite good and I wouldn't mind seeing them but Pearl Jam are the main band to see obviously. Driving down to Milton Keynes on the day and driving back after. Well, I'm not but my friend is.
  6. ...and how long is that drive for you?
  7. Seven and a half hours.
  8. Wow quite some drive after a gig
  9. Yeah, it is split between two people thankfully.
  10. 7 hours is some serious drive. Before the concert it's fine with all the excitement, jokes and music... but afterwards as Peter says... it will be terrible. Still better than not doing it lol
  11. I'll just sleep on the way back. Doesn't bother me!
  12. Been there and done it. My girl drives to and from the concerts and I sleep on the way back home But it's never a >2h drive, though.
