surprised cause i never saw a good consideration of that song .. i like it though

For years I just assumed it was Eddie singing it with a "weird" voice. It's a good rocker. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Smile and I has that harmonica at the start that gets on my nerves. Eddies "talking" at the start of "I'm Open" is a bit...contrived. "Around the Bend" is a somewhat disappointing closer - especially compared to other closers like "Release," "Indifference," "All Those Yesterdays" and "Parting Ways." (I also consider "Immortality" a closer since that ""Hey, Foxy"-song was removed from my playlist long ago.

  4. You are better off with the general sale brother.I feel your pain.I wasted an entire day here in NYC,trying to get tickets to the Amsterdam gig.

This is nothing new with the 10 C.I wont subject everyone to another rant.Just hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

By the way, since it looks like we got screwed for PJ in Amsterdam,my buddy Chris, in the UK ,said he can get tickets to see Noel Gallagher in Dublin, with the RHCP.Croke Park.06.26.12 Same day PJ are in Amsterdam.Without a moments hesitation I said DO IT!!!!! Ireland for a stop in June ? To see the Chief again ??? TY......

This reminds me of when we traveled all over Europe to see PJ and Oasis back in 2000.Nice to have a friend with connections in the UK.Now,I feel better....Its turning into more of a Noel Gallagher trip now.LOL.Ill be seein Noel also at the Ilse of Wrght....

about the source of Salt Lake City it should be a matrix, audience+broadcast, at least the one i have

Check the We Got Shit site for their version. It says its a broadcast, but it sounds like a soundboard Ron.It sounds too good for a matrix IMO...
  6. i also have the "We got shit" version but there's a flac version on TUBE too .. probably the same source
    and this is what's said

SV052 - "THE MONKEYWRENCH CHRONICLES VOL. II: ABANDON"
    November 2, 1995
Delta Center: Salt Lake City, UT

Show Source: 2-source mix: [Mono FM (Monkeywrench radio) > dat > cdr] +
    [Nakamichi CM-700 + CP-701 > Sony TCD-D7 > dat-M > cdr1 > flac > .wav] > flac
Aftershow Source: FM > analog > cdr > flac (various spots of static patched with FM
    > dat > cdr)

anyway who cares of the source when the sound (and the show of course) is so good hehe
  7. Thats the second show Ronnie. The soundboard show is Nov 1st,1995,N1.....Nov 2nd is N2,an audience recording-matrix....check out N1....you will love it....
  8. ahhh ok .. i mixed the dates hehehe .. i'm getting old too fast hehe
  9. So then BOTH of these SLC shows sound good?!
  10. i'd say yes .. better the first .. maybe .. i'm a little confused about what is what in this moment hehehe
