  1. I've been listening to No Code all week - trying to give it another chance after over a decade on the shelf (aside from a few of its hits)....it's a really good album.

    I recently recommended anyone looking to get into PJ start with their 2-CD Greatest Hits collection,"Rearviewmirror." On second thought, I think you'd be doing yourself a favour by gettng all five studio albums from the 1990's and any additional songs (b-sides, soundtrack tunes, ep tracks) from that decade, as well.

    Great, great, great rock music.

    Like the PJ/Mudhoney tour, theres a rumour that Soundgarden will play a gig at the Gorge this summer, and bring Meat Puppets with them.

    For Christ's sake you grunge people, stop teasing me and make a world tour all together!

    they've annouced on their site other dates that cover almost the whole july

    Apparently yes.
    "Excerpt from a new interview with Chris Cornell at RollingStone.com:

    Pearl Jam are planning a big festival in the late summer to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Drummer Matt Cameron divides his time between the two bands, so it makes sense that Soundgarden might get invited to play too. “I haven’t heard anything about that,” says Cornell. “Whether it makes sense or not depends on if you’re Matt. He might not want to get carpal tunnel syndrome.”

    A dream for fans would be a reunion of the early Nineties grunge supergroup Temple of the Dog, which also featured Cameron on drums. “We could also get Matt to play in a few other bands,” laughs Cornell. “He could just play until basically he has to go to the hospital.”
  10. PEARL JAM FILMED PHILADELPHIA SHOWS IN 2009, BIG NEWS COMING NEXT WEEK

    On the latest episode of Pearl Jam Radio’s All Encompassing Trip it was revealed that Pearl Jam filmed their legendary shows in Philadelphia at the Spectrum in 2009. Also, there will supposedly be some big Pearl Jam related news coming out sometime in the next week.
