  1. Is that the bonus feature 'Ed's House'? When he goes through previous tour cases and shows the development of their setlists from soundcheck to final draft and the set is actually MSG I 2010?

    I'm actually halfway between a casual fan and you diehards I downlobought PJ20 few months ago but never feel like watching it. Tonight might be the night. Thanks!

    That's a great bit too. But in the film they discuss the setlist process for a couple minutes. It's in the last quarter of the film.

    Funnily enought, I never had heard anything from Mother Love Bone. I know their story and they're the seeds of PJ, but I had never actually heard them. They rock.
  6. I have to admit that up until a few years ago I only knew of Mother Love Bone because they had a song, Chloe/Crown, on the Singles soundtrack. I had no idea that Jeff and Stone were in that band!

    I really should watch it again. If I recall correctly, I watched both PJ20 and From The Ground Up in the same week way back in 2011 and haven't watched them since!

    I was thinking they look similar somehow. Same letter style, same development. Who influenced who? haha...

    Shivers down my spine when Eddie gets the original demo cassette back in his hands. Wow.
  9. Oddly enough both were premiered at the Toronto Film Festival back in 2011. I didn't see either of them in the theater (film festivals aren't really my thing) but I did see both bands that year!
  10. WOW, I had no idea Eddie Vedder had been so fucking crazy on stage... That surely rings a bell for us U2ers, but he took Bono's crazyness to another level. LOL
  11. As great as all of their recent bootleg are a lot of their best performances come from the 1990's - anything from between 1992 to 1998 is "all killer, no filler" and performed with such raw intensity.
