    Not a big deal as we obviously are spoiled by all the live shows , just seems odd to me .

    I can only hope for Canada 2015 next year. If they also did South America, it would follow what they did after the Backspacer tour of mini-touring for two years in NA, Europe, and Oz to promote the album and then tacking on "above/below the US countries" for a few shows. Unfortunately, if something happens once it doesn't make it a pattern.

    This said, there might have been indecision with which format to use for the 2007 bootlegs...remember, the 2006 were not physically released but the 2008 ones were. Also, a lot of the shows were "festival" shows - that might of had an impact....I starting to get out the shovel here.

    As for shows like Alpine and Wrigley, I can only guess that they want to keep something for long-term future vault releases. Think about it: The Stones have been around for 50 (!) years and they are still reissuing things. I am sure the PJ camp will want to have a yet-to-be-released concert to give their geriatric fans in 2045!

  7. I'd be surprised if they did absolutely no shows whatsoever...that hasn't happened since...well, never. Admittedly, they only did a few shows between the Binaural and Riot Act tours but that was well over a decade ago.

  9. Its great to see that the PJ shows sound so frigging good . The last couple of years , especially 2013 on , blow away the early boots .

  10. I'm a big fan of the 2006 bootlegs, those sound excellent in my opinion.

    'Spin the Black Circle' sounds different, been dropped a key. Must be too strenuous on Vedder's voice.
  11. I really like the 2000 and 2006 boots the best of the "older" official releases and, obviously, most of the stuff since 2011 (when I started getting back into these guys).

    The 2000 performances/setlists are filled great song after great song (very little filler) and, due to the lack of keyboards, sound a little rawer (or is it "more raw?").

    For whatever reason, I like the 2006 shows better than 2003/05/08/09/10. Don't get me wrong, there are some great shows from each of those years but I think they played a lot of their earlier stuff really well on that tour and it was cool that they made it to both Europe AND the South Pacific that year after alternating between the two regions on all of their previous tours.
  12. As far as the actual band, 2006 is my favorite.
    But I totally agree with Ed, starting last year the actual sound of the boots is better than ever. I wish the 2010 boots had the quality mixing of 2013-2014.
