I cant imagine anything being better than BB.. As a matter of fact, I dont think I can handle a show better than BB..
  2. Yeah, without getting into specific songs, there are a bunch of songs that probably would kill the momentum of a show. DGNL would certainly be one in my books.

I guess I best be careful to not turn into an setlist snob on the reverse end of what we're talking about. I'll be the first to admit that I've shaken my head at the inclusion of songs like Comatose and Got Some in a setlist.

    Exactly.....
  4. I'm curious what will become of the LB songs over the next couple of years. Will any be a frequent fixture like some of the 90's gems or will they go the way of the other songs off the 2000's albums? I am a bit surprised (but not upset) that The Fixer got the almost-complete-axe from the shows. I do connect a few Backspacer and LB songs, however...

Got Some and MYM - both quick and heavy...gets a good portion of the crowd going. I liked both at first by neither stayed with me for the long run.

Unthought Known and LB - both have a slow build that lead up to full on EV vocals.

Just Breathe and Sirens - the ones about love and life...crosses over to both genders and many types of R&R fans.

    Any others?
  5. Sirens is an absolute classic....IMO , MYM is way better then Got Some ..but the band absolutely loves playing that tune...

UK is ok , as is LB....

I love Yellow Moon , Pendulum and Sirens...rest of the tunes from LB are good , but nothing I keep going back to a year after the release .
  6. I hope Pendulum sticks around. My favorite for sure

  7. For me, yeah. Breaking bad didn't really do it for me. It was good, but I never got why everyone was so obsessed by it. For someone with not enough time to sit down and watch a lot of television, the show was very drawn out.mcould have been over in three seasons. Went into way too much detail. Just my opinion of course
  8. I don't know how the hell did you PJers end up talking about fucking Breaking Bad but, as an avid TV-avoider (aka I don't even have a proper TV since I moved out from my parents', my PC is the only watchable thing here) and as a chemist, I absolutely loved that series. Brilliant, brilliant series.

Oh, and see you in Dublin too
  9. Tulsa is very good so far.
Breaker fall- Last Exit- Animal-MYM- In My Tree is a great run. I was never a fan of Breakerfall but it's a different story live. It kicks ass.
  10. I'm still on St. Louis!

I figure I can do ACL 1 on Saturday/Sunday and Tulsa on Sunday/Monday - and then start fresh on Tuesday!
  11. Im really looking forward to Det Moline and Milwaukee .....

St Louis is really a solid gig (1 listen so far) .. Lincoln looks like a really nice show as well (JL B-Day)...
