It'd be amazing the next time I have the privilege of seeing a PJ show and he says it again during Release....

In any event, the Detroit show is fantastic. Very solid setlist and tight performances....EV is in a talkative mood...all of these elements always make for an excellent bootleg.
  2. That is probably one of the best performances of Spin the Black Circle in a while. I can't get enough of the Detroit Rock City intro.

I was under the impression EV sang some of the lyrics of Detroit Rock City. Seems a bit sill that it gets it's own track #.

Yea thought the same thing. It's a great intro but should be one track.

I know it's killer, and so late in the set. So far this and Tulsa are the easy standouts. Haven't heard Memphis yet but it looks like a killer show. And we're really getting into the "meat and potatoes" of this tour with these upcoming shows.
  6. I'm not usually a fan Kick out the Jams. I knew it was coming being in Detroit and all. But , wow, it kicked ass live and it sounds amazing on the boot.
  7. I don't know if Vedder would be able to sing Detroit Rock City. Although it would probably be fucking epic if it was played in full.
  8. I'm trying to write a feature on the 20th anniversary of Vitalogy, and it's difficult. There is so much to write about – it's such a vibrant and abrasive album. A lot was happening with this band at the time and it's fortunate they made it through united. I'll be over 1000 words still describing why it's not just one of my favourite all-time albums, but my favourite Pearl Jam album.

I can't wait to read it. What a fantastic album.
  10. I can't stop listening to the Detroit bootleg...I don't know if it's some deep-rooted issue of mine or that it's really that great a show!

    Probably a bit of both!
  11. They completely botched Wash at Memphis, hilarious to hear.
