    Quoting myself:

Feel free to give me recommended versions of songs for the playlist, Ed. I was hoping to make the first two discs from the first five gigs and the second two discs from teh second five gigs but I think the first half of this mini-tour has too many solid performances to overlook.

    "Givens", however:

Disc 1 starts with Long Road
Disc 2 ends with RITFW (Toronto, N1)
    Disc 3 starts with Release
Disc 4 ends with Yellow Ledbetter (Vancouver?) with Indifference likely being the second last song.

  6. I'm crazy and like doing these compilations:

Any recommended performances for a 2010 mix? Thanks to you I have many of the performances - still haven't listened to any of them except a bit of London, but I will.
  7. Any rumours out there about the leg two bootlegs from the PJ20 tour?
  8. Hey Matt.I agree. The first 5 have alot more energy to them. They are better gigs.Thats why I did 2 separate mixes.First mix is from the 2 Toronto gigs.Second mix from the first 5 Canadian gigs.I didnt want the same song, (Long Road) leading off both, of my Canadian playlists mixes.I will leave the Canadian First 5 mix/compilation for you to submit Matt.

As far as the First 5 Canadian 2011 mix, stand out tunes from each gig IMO are:

    Montreal : Last Exit,Glorified G,Even Flow,Black,Arms Aloft.

Toronto 1: IMO,this is THE show of the leg.If I had to pick just a few...Long Road (this starts my Toronto mix),Once,Got Some,Nothing As It Seems,Not For You(Modern Girl),Daughter(Its OK).(I love both encores, but I think the version of Black, from my gig in Montreal ,is slightly better than Tortonto.Same goes for Even Flow Montreal)..........Man Trilogy,Just Breathe,RVM,Chloe Dancer> Crown Of Thorns,RITFW.

    Toronto 2: Go(this starts my Canadian mix),Animal,Ole',Hail Hail,In My Tree,Sad,Deep,Garden,Rats,I Got Id,Jeremy

    Ottawa : Given To Fly,Whipping,Breath,Wishlist,The End>Inside Job,Alive

    Hamilton : Immortality,Habit,Push Me Pull Me,Why Go,I Remember You,State Of Love And Trust,Brain Of J,Search And Destroy.
  9. I often overlook rarer b-sides and covers as well as "Avocado" tracks.

I'll try not to this time around.

I have a NYC mix, from the 2010 MSG gigs.I posted that mix a while back on here. The Boston show is really good,as is Hartford.

Europe 2010, I would say Dublin,London and Berlin are the standout gigs. The Berlin show especially. It's on the 10th anniversary of the Denmark tragedy. After Black,EV breaks down a bit.Its a very emotional show.An absolute must have/listen.

  11. Its hard to include EVERY song.I try to use the most recent songs.Make each mix, from each tour/year a bit different.A song like Deep, that isnt performed too often.

My Italian 2006 mix is of course dominated by Avocado tunes,as it should be.

Today,Im going to list my 4 Nights In Los Angeles mix. From 2009.Those shows, were a bit overlooked, by the classic 4 night stand in Phialdelphia. I attended N2 and N3 in Philly.
  12. Ironically enough, the 2006 Italy mix I made last month has very few "Avocado" tunes. I hope we can still continue these conversations. Also, I noticed they only played a few songs from that album at the 2006 Leeds and Reading festivals. I am still giving it another "try." I listened to it quite a bit back in 2006 but just didn't love it. Inside Job, Army Reserve, and Marker in the Sand deserve a closer look. WWS, Life Wasted, Severed Hand, Comatose, Parachutes, and Gone are all decent. Come Back, is a bit too 50's for me (kind of like Last Kiss), while Big Wave and Unemployable are not my cup of tea.
