1. I guess you two Mets fans can join me in the KC Royals hate now!

Damn they are a tough team.
  2. Not sure who feels like a bigger jackass this morning... Terry Collins or Matt Harvey.
  3. I'd say Harvey. But I think it was the right call. Everyone could say all they want about that decision. At the end of the day wayyyy too many errors and the middle of our line up completely died. That's the reason the mets lost the series. Bullpen didn't help either. Oh well. No one even though they'd make the playoffs so I'm still proud.

    Let's go Pearl Jam!!!! Haha.
  4. Okay. Got it.

Pearl Jam guaranteed in Portugal in 2016
Only a miracle can depart the band Eddie Vedder a concert in Portugal during the time of festivals.
Pearl Jam have proposals for all of the main promoters of shows in Portugal to act in Portugal next season. Rock in Rio, NOS Alive and Super Bock Super Rock offered big contracts band Ten. Some of which, to the BLITZ can determine exceed one million euros. The parade is really high, but not only the value of cachet can be decisive. The map of the tour has an important value - where they come from and where they go - as well as the tour poster. If offered to Pearl Jam the decision to work with bands chosen by themselves, on a night when the poster is made up of friends, this may be an option. If Pearl Jam opt for higher glosses, this is another option. If the Peal Jam choose to act on those hired in recent years, then we are the third and most likely last choice. One thing seems certain, given the current state of affairs, Pearl Jam will be in Portugal in 2016. In Rock in Rio , topping the rock night in Alive or Super Bock Super Rock. "Imagine there's in heaven."
  5. ready for the lightning bolt?

Matt are you preparing the boots schedule?
  6. I can do that. It's just nine shows so it should be too tough to get a few of us to get a couple of boots each. Admittedly, many of us weren't that excited for the Australian boots a while back (to make the southern hemisphere comparison) but it might be different this time around as that tour was really just six festival performances and the shows weren't that long after the 25 shows from the fall of 2013. I am certainly itching to listen to a full, 30plus-song bootleg!

We'll stick with mp3 versions for now but I can't help but wonder if I/we should "upgrade" to a higher quality versions in 2016. I dunno, my aging ears probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference - but my wallet might.

Obviously, I'm in for whatever needs to be bought
  8. The 2015 Latin American Tour starts tomorrow night! Who's going?

Anyway, to celebrate PJ finally touring again, I made (yet another) mix. It takes tunes from the boots many of us gathered as a group almost four years ago, from the 2011 Latin America Tour.

If you quickly look at the tracklist you might notice some of our personal favourites (Release, Indifference, and IMMORTALITY come to mind) have been omitted. You might also gasp that nothing from No Code was included. There's a reason for this: It's the "Pearl Jam 300 Club," the 18 songs that have been performed live by the band at least 300 times by the band. And aside from the cover Rockin' In The Free World, it is highly unlikely that any other PJ song will join the 300 Club.

Anyway, below is the tracklist. I had a neat little icon uploaded to imageshack as well but my free trial ended recently so that's not gonna work out right now.

    01 Go (2011-11-13, Buenos Aires)
    02 Animal (2011-11-03, Sao Paolo)
    03 Corduroy (2011-11-13, Buenos Aires)
04 Do The Evolution (2011-11-04, Sao Paolo)
05 Why Go (2011-11-03, Sao Paolo)
06 Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town (2011-11-20, San Jose)
07 Given To Fly (2011-11-16, Santiago)
    08 Daughter (2011-11-11, Porto Allegre)
09 Even Flow (2011-11-13, Buenos Aires)
    10 Jeremy (2011-11-18, Lima)
    11 Porch (2011-11-18, Lima)
    12 Black (2011-11-04, Sao Paolo)
    13 Once (2011-11-16, Santiago)
    14 Rearviewmirror (2011-11-20, San Jose)
    15 Better Man (2011-11-18, Lima)
16 State Of Love And Trust (2011-11-04, Sao Paolo)
    17 Alive (2011-11-03, Sao Paolo)
18 Yellow Ledbetter (2011-11-11, Porto Allegre)

The anticlimax comes from the fact that I cannot post the link to the songs here as they are still available within their own bootlegs on the 10c site.

    You know what to do.

Gentlemen (and ladies?), get listening to some live PEARL JAM! I know I will be...well, I guess I have been at an alarming rate over the past four and a half years
  9. Awesome Matt. I've been on a kick myself. Recently listened to :
    MSG 2 2010
    All 3 Gorge Shows.
    Philly 3 2009
    Santa Barabara 2006

Classics. Can't wait to see how it unfolds tmrw.
  10. Admittedly, I haven't listened to much from 2003 through 2010 in the past year.

I often listen to some of those JWB remasters boots from the 1990's as well as some stuff from the 2000 but then jump to the stuff I (we) started collecting in 2011 through 2014.

I know there's a ton of great stuff that I am ignoring (I have listened to a lot of them before - multiple times even) that I should rediscover in the near future.
