    I have currently omitted it from my 2011 Canadian Tour compilation (four discs - creation still in progress). Since it was played in Toronto (Night 2) and by your comments, maybe I should rethink my decision.



  2. As much as I love this song, I have come to appreciate the anticipation of it (and heavy hitters like it) being the "swift kick" as the second song in a show. I love listening to "build up/slow burn" songs like Sometimes, Release, or Long Road to open - and then...BOOM!

    I agree from the live point of view but the album openers are usually heavy songs. Pretty much all except No code and riot act start with a bang. Release is one of their best live opening songs!
  4. Oh, yeah. I was thinking live...I forgot about the studio albums (rarely listen to those anymore).

    However, even songs like Once, Go, Last Exit, and Brain of J have a few-second, quieter intro before the....BOOM!

    Sometimes and Can't Keep are two of my favourites from their respective albums.

    100% true lol. I even remember my father on the phone with my uncle like "where the f is yellowledbetter!!??" we called the local radio station only to find out is was a b side to Jeremy. I even ff all the way through stuPid mop hoping I was a hidden song

    After the bridge, the first line is " if just one wish could bring her back" sung over a great subtle solo that gives me chills everytime.

  10. Last Kiss? Like or dislike (relatively speaking, of course).
  11. Kinda surprised they never gave lukin a go at opening lol. last kiss is good but it's a cover and generally don't get too involved with covers like I would an original song. Def a great cover though
  12. I threw that one out there as I have never been a huge fan of Last Kiss.

    Crazy Mary, although a cover (and all due respect to Victoria Williams), is a PJ song to me. Love that one.
