1. Christ, he's doing well for 53 years old.

tomorrow the recording sessions for the first album are going to start

    exactly 25 years ago
    Probably a good move.
  3. Most of these guys (members of Pearl Jam) seem to be aging better (both physically and socially) than many of their glam metal contemporaries.

Maybe Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx would argue otherwise.
  4. after having said that at around 50 you're still a kid .. grunge put some kind of dorian gray seeds .. if you survived at it of course
aside of Kim Thayil but he was already old at the time hehe .. still always cool

Yes. I added "the members of Pearl Jam" part as an afterthought. Sadly, some other grunge greats didn't fair so well.

Jeff, Eddie, Stone, Mike and Matt seem to be faring well, however. And as long as Boom is older than 50-ish, I'll say that he seems to be doing okay, too.

  6. also the others "grungians" ( ) alive are in good/great shape .. Chris Cornell, Jerry Cantrell, Ben Shepherd, Mark Arm, Dave Grohl etc .. even Krist in his own way hehe
  7. Dave Grohl is still relatively young. Only 47. The rest are obviously pushing 50.
  8. thanks for the "relatively" hehehe
  9. Dave Grohl looks way better today , then he did when he was in Nirvana..he acted , and looked like a geek back then in the early 90s...remember the infaous " hi Axl , hi Axl ,hi Axl" , from the MTV awards ?? lol..

Actually , I was watching PJ20 yesterday (Im in one of my infamous one band only 24/7 moods, as my wife calls it) , there was a clip of EV and Kirt dancing , Grohl was there ..he looked like a total dweeb to say the least lol
  10. one of the best versions ..

  11. It's starting to get real. The excitement is becoming hard to control. PJ dreams are starting along with my mind racing about the shows befire going to bed. The reality of them playing 2 nights at MSG, first since those legendary shows in 2010, is starting to sink in. Along with the fact that the Hampton show will hold 10k people and the countless amount of other PJ awesomeness that's taking place this year. I'm so happy to be a fan of this band, it's hard to even put into words. I'm sure you all understand this as you guys are all as passionate as me about them , or other artists.

Right or wrong, I don't really care about much else right now but my two shows!
