1. I guess that means we'll get most, if not all, of the tracks from that album. Cool.

  2. Edited that post a tad

  3. Well played.

I'd like to go to both nights but realistically I'll just attend one. Even that's a tough call to make, however, when a band like PJ will likely play an entirely different set on the second night - unlike SOME other bands....

  4. I've got to get ready for the sale on the 27th.

I have to admit that I am not too sure how to judge this one...U2 sells out pretty quickly but Pearl Jam aren't quite at the same level. In other words, fewer "casual" fans attend their shows - that's why they would play a 70,000-seat stadium. I better be sure to be on-line the minute they are up for grabs.

with 2 nights in a row you'd get little less than 30 songs per night that means around 50 different songs and the others not in the same spot .. as you said 2 completely different shows.
it's what i got when i saw them in Verona and Milan in 2006.

The four-CD compilation I made has about 75 songs...wonder how many of them they'll play. It's very "90s."

I'll definitely be purchasing those two official bootlegs when they come out.
  7. "Mankind" from No Code: Just listening to a live version of it and have realized that Eddie doesn't sing lead vocals on it doesn't he? Or am I wrong? I always thought his voice sounded a bit "different" on that song.
  8. Stone Gossard sings there
  9. "The current line up for Pearl Jam’s 20th Anniversary Labor Day weekend festival, in Alpine Valley, WI. :
    PJ [of course]
    The Strokes
    Queens of the Stone Age
    Mudhoney

    John Doe
    Joseph Arthur
    Glen Hansard
    Liam Finn
    Thenewo2
    David Garza
    Star Anna
    The Young Evils''

    I don't think it's fair to me.

It'll definitely be a great day(s) for rock music.

  11. I wonder if Soundgarden will participate too *fingers crossed*
    That would be really nice.
