EV said its the first time since '96 that they played Lauderdale....crazy . Id love to know what tune was dropped for Comatose . Mike switched Gibson's up at least 2 times , as did Stone..Mike even left the stage briefly to help find the right Gibson....pretty confusing moments there , and to play Comatose ? I was like c'mon man really lol

Go opening took me by surprise ....loved it.. MYM , Corduroy , GTF , Help Help (weird place for it , I would have liked Animal and or Last Exit there) then DEEP was a pretty amazing opening run.

Black , FOOTSTEPS (!!!!!!!) , Nothingman and Indifference are my favorites from back in the day....so no complaints here.....

Lauderdale and Miami are only 28 miles apart..so I think its safe to say the band will be treating this a s a 2 night stand...

....maybe tonight is a more chilled opening ....Release into Oceans ?
I actually love Light Years anywhere in the set. Nothing was dropped Besides life wasted to start the second encore. I texted you the stage set lol

Ill send you more pics today..heading out to Miami with the wife soon....
  3. I guess the three-song, slow burn intro has been put on hiatus for this tour. That's okay, it worked as a novelty for the LB tour but it's time to change it up again.

I prefer slow to start. Those are some of my fave songs in general. Release , Oceans, Long Road etc... BUT it's nice to see a change for sure.
  5. I don't doubt they'll bring out ONE slow tune to start (in the past they open with fast-paced ones less often than not). I'll just be surprised if they continue the trends from the LB tour.

But hey, if they want to open with Release and Oceans just one more time (in Toronto) that'd be fine by me. I'm aware that I've just made myself vulnerable with this comment.

I'm surprised they didn't opt to play two shows in one of the two places. Seems like much less hassle (at least in terms of stage set up) to play the same venue for a two-night stand as opposed to packing everything up and re-erecting it 28 miles away.

Must have been a scheduling issue.
  7. WMA tonight! Wow!
  8. And Corduroy / Do The Evolution / MYM / Save You as the opener quartet. That is some energy to start with!
  9. 1. Corduroy
    2. Do the Evolution
    3. Mind Your Manners
    4. Save you
    5. Pilate
    6. Dissident
    7. WMA
    8. Even Flow
    9. Infaillible
    10. Daughter (Tag : It's OK)
    11. Sad
    12. Down
    13. Tremor Christ
    14. Wishlist
    15. Jeremy

They're at it again. HOLY SHIT
  10. Nice way to start these two shows. Definitely looks like they don't need any warm up shows
  11. Spin the Black Circle (not usual so late in the set, right?), Black, Alive and Rockin' in the Free World to end. What an finishing quartet, almost as energetic as the starting one!

Also, a set without Better Man... That ain't usual either, right?
  12. Better Man will often miss a show if it was played nearby (or at the same venue) the night before. Same goes for big songs like RVM, Given To Fly (not this time around, however), and Jeremy.
