1. Still TONS of great songs not played yet on this tour! Matt? Stats? haha

Y go was written (real tiny) on the side of the printed setlist for encore 2 between Last Kiss and Breath....as maybe an alternative ?..then scratched..Nothingman was added to E1......regardless , Y go should be played over the ok at best Comatose always..especially in an encore slot....

As great as EV is in writing set lists ,and he certainly is (as a DMB fan I can attest to this) he definitely places some questionable tunes in his sets....example being Come Back in Tampa..the fans were literally running for the gates as the song started and it was as if EV was saying Come Back lol.. 4 LB tunes towards the end of the main set ? 2 LB songs in E 1 ? C'mon Ed ..no big deal I guess as the show was insane (and I don't want to sound like the emotionally disturbed fans on the PJ forums) , but that is just brutal...nobody wants to hear those songs at this point in time . Future Days is a damn snooze fest , nice studio tune , but live no way.....6 LB songs almost 3 years after the album was released is way too much..play MYM and Sirens and thats that...

Last night is the obvious choice as gig of the tour ..but its early.....I still say MSG (maybe N2?) will be the shows of the tour....as far as a one off gig , last night will be very hard to beat.....Nick maybe Vitalogy tomorrow ???

Maybe 10? I mean only 2 from 10 last night and bothe are pretty much every-nighters. Lol. That leaves room for a whole bunch of 10 or all of it.Tmrw will be an amazing gig no doubt, as they all are. Yesterday is a novelty, like moline and Milwaukee. Both of those boots kind of lose steam after the album played in full ends and it definitely happened again last night. I mean...Swallowed-Sirens-Records is a brutal run. All of this coming from just an "on paper" standpoint. I watched some of the show last night and I could feel the energy through the phone. Band and crowd were both on fire.

Plenty of room tmrw. To name a few standouts, Faithful, immortality, MFC, In my Tree, in hiding, garden, brain of J, release, oceans, crazy Mary all haven't shown up yet. Plus I hope because they were played last night that comatose, last kiss, SW, sirens and records take a rest. I wouldn't mind Soldier of Love played to the back and I'd be over the moon for Smile in that same position. I'll def deal with pendulum if it opens encore 1. My fave tune from LB. The way this tour is going it's almost as if every show is somehow better than the last. I'm hoping that trend continues through the tour. By the time this tour winds done with the big 3 (PH,NY,Toronto), minds will be blown for sure.
  4. There might not be any surprises left by the time Toronto rolls around.
  5. Not a chance. Even with high expections, they will exceed them.
  6. Heck, I've only seen them four times. I''d be fine if they pulled out all the rarities/lost dogs beforehand. I'm not one of those individuals who indicates "+1" to requests for songs like "Fatal," "Of the Earth," or "Angel."

Dude those songs kill momentum especially mid set. Some fans just like to cross songs off their list even if they don't like them. It's a crime that In the Moonlight was played this tour and immortality hasn't yet. Hopefully that'll change tmrw

  8. No. Pretty much did shorter versions of those songs that usually can go long. RM was a shorter jam as well.
  9. I'm thinking they should eventually do Ten (with Solat and Breath, of course) and Vitalogy and re-release all five nineties albums in live format ...preferably as a box set.
  10. It's a bit early in the tour but why not? (UPPER CASE indicates my personal top ten twelve). It's not a complete list but it contains the necessities.

    Ten-era:
    RELEASE, GARDEN, OCEANS. Wash, Alone
    Vitalogy:
NOT FOR YOU (?????), IMMORTALITY, Whipping. Satan's Bed
    Merkinball:
    I GOT ID, LONG ROAD
    No Code:
IN MY TREE, SOMETIMES, Habit, Around the Bend
    Yield:
BRAIN OF J, IN HIDING, FAITHFULL, MFC, All Those Yesterdays, No Way, Push Me Pull Me

That list makes me very excited.
  12. Nick,
Not sure when you're leaving for Hampton or you've already left or how long it will take you to get there but have a great time!
