    I agree about Glastonbury , only the best will usually headline there ( Jay Z headlined no ?).... that being said its a festival , we are talking about an arena , and or a specific building (ex. O2 Arena London).....so Glastonbury is not a good example , its an outdoor event as is the Coachella Festival in Indio CA here in the states....if you want to say for instance Wembley Arena or the old Boston Garden , then sure that is a valid argument...not a festival...just my 2 cents
    I had written Wembley Stadium as the "standalone venue" alternative, and decided to remove it last minute since you could say the same about it than about MSG (some shit bands and artists have sold out Wembley!). But yeah, that and Glasto are definitely the top stages worldwide in my book.
  4. It's amazing how 10c members think a setlist is epic because it has Gods Dice and Pilate. Since when did people decide they rather see mediocre songs than high quality songs? I just don't get it.

  8. I agree. Venue was half full yesterday and these people on the boards are praising it likes it's the best set ever lol. I'm sorry but the less Binsural
    And Riot Act in the set, the better. For me at least.

    It's funny because I remember in 2000and 2003 , pj didn't play a lot of ten and people were complaining. Now it's the opposite.
  9. Although I sincerely feel bad for the individuals whose travel plans are getting messed up (or will now have to miss the show altogether) this works very well for me.

    ...with only four days (!!!) To go until night 1 I'll have to start working on my perfect setlists ...y'know, so I can "song hunt" during the performances.

    Binural is a funny album....l think live versions of NAIS, Of the Girl, Parting Ways, and Rival are awesome. Then it gets a bit dicey after that: Insignificance, Breaker fall, and Grievance are all good rockers but they have better ones from earlier albums; Light Years and Thin Air are nice tunes but a bit dull on some level; Evacuation is terrible and God's Dice isn't much better; and Sleight of Hand and Soon Forget would be a quite a snooze fest at a show.

    Purely my own opinion, of course.

    E2 is all business after noodling around in the main set. I'm sure that encore brought down the house. 3 board requests fulfilled too during the show. With dedications. Best band ever.
