1. Its Ok tag is mandatory ...I got it in Miami ..IMO the Its Ok tag just completes the song...

Daughter was played in Tampa as well but no Its Ok tag , ABITW was used

Best version of Daughter though ?...I seem to remember an epic-like version from my Jones Beach 2 show , way back in 2000...(Milan has a brilliant version too , but no Its Ok tag takes it out of the running)...........haven't listened to JB and London shows in ages though..Ill have to revisit those shows soon...

I have many favorite versions of Black as well my favorite PJ tune.....London 05.30.00 is brilliant . This performance of Black is among the best ever, as the crowd starts singing the song's backing vocal ("tootoo too too tootootoo") while Mike is soloing, stretching the classic out to nearly eight minutes....truly spine-tingling moment....The band then in turn close the show with an extremely powerful version of Alive ..the only time this song was used to close a show in the entire tour.

Unfortunately, the shows from 2000 (especially the great Euro gigs) sound dull and lifeless in comparison to the more recent releases.... maybe they will get a nice big remaster someday ..

Best Black for me is easily Pistoia 2006.
  3. The Italian shows in '06 (along with 2000) are easily the best of those tours , so I wont argue with that assessment.......that being said , you just might want to take another listen and revisit that London gig from 2000....
  4. Yes, Both Virginia and Jones Beaches versions of Daughter are awesome/mandatory listening. I'm sure I've said this before but Winnipeg 2011, Berlin 2012, and Milan 2014 (Frozen, anyone?) are also great.

I will. I'll need all the help I can get until Fenway.
  6. Milan 2006 is pretty solid as well. Jones Beach 2, 2000 has a great version if Black. Of course, those JB shows have a lot of great versions of a lot of songs.
  7. Am in the minority? Force of Nature is a great song , a standout on Backspacer. Shame it doesn't get played at all.
  8. Force of Nature is quite a guilty pleasure of mine. Not their best song but there's something about it.
  9. Glorified G from Greenville is beautiful. In fact, hearing the entire Vs. album in full is a marvellous thing.

  10. Maybe I should give another listen (haven't played it in a few years) but I never really liked it. This said, I dislike all but one or two songs from the album.
  11. I still have to finish Tampa and Jax! Greenville on repeat this week!
  12. I skipped to Hampton and will give Greenville a listen tmrw.
