the 2 sets would cover over 5 hours at least for and it's pretty impossible for Matt to bear it in a day.
maybe we could have Chris Cornell on stage with the Jam as an appearance for Rocking in the free world for example or Hunger strike.

Have they (members of SG and PJ) performed "Hunger Strike" together over the past 15-20 years?
  2. yes a couple of years ago, in Los Angeles i think, Chris Cornell joined PJ on stage as guest.
i think it could have happened some other times before too

Plus, i dont know if the dates match but Queens of the Stone Age will tour with Soundgarden and Meat Puppets, and Queens are already booked for the Pearl Jam festival so if they bring everybody together I guess we can expect some nice duets there

  6. "At a Pearl Jam show at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, California on October 28, 2003, Cornell joined the band on-stage effectively reuniting Temple of the Dog (Cameron had been the drummer for Pearl Jam since 1998) for renditions of "Hunger Strike" and "Reach Down"."

"On October 6, 2009, Cornell joined Pearl Jam onstage to perform "Hunger Strike" in Los Angeles, collectively reuniting Temple of the Dog once again."

  7. Thanks to all of you who responded to my "Temple of the Dog" question. I should have a closer listen to that CD...I'm sure I have it buried somewhere.
  8. I'm being tempted to go to PJ Fest at Alpine Valley. Don't think I'll be able to swing it, but we'll see.
  9. if you have even a tiny chance don't let it go!
  10. i don't know what it says but probably something which interests to Ale

Guys, are you kidding me? Really, really?
Well it says that Chris is definitely coming to South America later this year, not sure about Soungarden, and they will probably play on SWU festival (I went to this fest last year, pretty cool, but expensive trip) .
MGMT and Cold War Kids are already confirmed acts.

Dude, if it's true, and if the PJ rumours are true too, I see some hard choices and financial hell coming my way. lol

Plus we have Rock 'n Rio back to Rio again this year, so every kind of rumour is floating around. I don't know if I should be skeptical
  12. pretty busy autumn eh

STONE GOSSARD’S BAND BRAD TO RELEASE FIFTH ALBUM LATER THIS YEAR

[Brad] are currently recording their self-produced fifth studio album at Studio Litho in the Fremont neighborhood of their hometown. Brad is also expected to commence with a series of releases beginning in autumn 2011, and will tour in support of those releases (details will be announced soon).

uhm but only Mike (and sometimes Eddie) is working on the PJ album?!?
