1. Hope the whole album is similar
  2. If the album goes in a similar direction in terms of the style of the song I’ll be quite interested and I like the idea but the song itself is a bit meh for me.
  3. Lead off tracks are often misleading. Just look at Who You Are.
  4. I love Bowie
    I love Talking Heads
    I love PJ
So I am digging it. Is it my favorite song? Hell no.
BUT, I’m relieved it’s not another Ole, fixer, manners, can’t deny me. Nothing really wrong with those songs, but it just felt like it was time to dig deeper. I have a feeling they wrote a bunch of those type songs, then scrapped everything. Can’t Deny had me concerned. This has me very interested and curious.
  5. Nice riff and verses, but dull chorus. Overall not bad...

Can't deny me was horrible. Glad to hear they have mixed things up.
  7. This song is so different and it’s risky. I love it and some of that guitar sounds like War Edge to me.
  8. Melikes (and I usually don't dig synth-heavy songs), but I agree that the "chorus" (if the "stand back when the spirit comes" is a chorus, which I doubt - it's more of a coda) is a bit lame.
  9. Risky and brave vocal delivery from EV.
  10. Most expermimental PJ sound sińce You Are... And both tracks are say very Edge’ish ... less hardrock guitar influences More „less is More” approach... I Love it!

  11. Correct. Vedder opened a few of his solo shows with this in Europe last year (one of which I was at and it sounded good.)

This is pretty much my thoughts. I'm confused, I can't understand how it's going to work live or how the album will come together but it has me intrigued for March 18th and 27th.
