What happened was PJ secured an insane amount of tickets for fan club lottery. I lost that lottery. Now there’s an incredibly small amount on the secondary market. Supply /demand. I completely disagree. It’s amazing how affordable they keep their tickets and they managed to cripple the secondary market for every show except NY and COL. Where by state law tickets must be transferable, so that out of their control. go check stubhub for their US tour. Go read up on what they did with tickets. It’s unprecedented really. Concerts that have a face value of $200-$400 is disgusting to me.
Agreed. Its a lottery. PJ do the right thing. I bought Radiohead tickets for $99 at MSG in July 2018. My U2 tickets were in the same month (July), section and row. Guess what, they were triple to what I paid for Radiohead, but it is what it is. Fans pay it. Its basically legalized scalping.
Bruce and PJ keep it down. DMB to a point as well, but their tickets are creeping up now ( $125) every summer and the best tickets go to "platinum seats" , close to $350 a ticket down low. Ridiculous.
The fact that PJ secured so many seats for their fan club is great IMO . Id feel the same if I missed out , but I would also be on the hunt for ticket drops etc. Also, Im still surprised its only 1 night. They usually do 2 at MSG, and sometimes a 3rd in the area, like the Meadowlands in 2010.
Hang in there, I, sure you will be at the show.
