1. When I saw them them back in September, they closed with RITFW - with Neil Young - which was very cool (and I'm not really a Neil Young fan). However, I have to admit that I was hoping for one more once that was done - either YLB or Indifference would have been just fine with me.

Yeah. I was thinking I would skip this one. The set list was short and not the greatest. Maybe I'll grab Tremor Christ for a future mix, however.

Is that Oasis's RNR Star they opened with?

No...I wish it was Oasis's tune. Its Tom Pettys played out,old rocker So You Wanna Be A Rock n Roll Star.I wasnt impressed.

I have a great mix from the 13 gigs.I will list the tunes soon.Between going to NY Ranger games (at MSG,and Philly for rhe Winter Classic) and the NFL playoffs, not much time.

Wow...you went to a Winter Classic? You are indeed a great attendee of cultural events!

I was reading an espn article last fall about sports other than football needing more hype...I believe they suggested PJ should play a 7th-inning stretch show during the World Series. Eddie's a big Cubs fan, I hear.

Hey, Ed: Mets or Yankees? Giants or Jets?
  5. LOL...Im a season ticket holder for the Rangers,so we had the option to buy tickets to the Classic.Lundqvist is amazing. The Rangers are a solid young team.My sons favorite player is Callahan.I love my hockey, and MSG..LOL.Nothing like the Original 6 right Matt..

I root for the Mets,my family is originally from Brooklyn,so my dad was a huge Brooklyn Dodger fan.In other words,he hated the Yankees. As I do.The Mets hat,is a combo is the old NY Giants logo (orange),and the Dodger blue.Just a bit lighter.I also root for the Jets. After 2 good playoff runs, they need to retool that team. live in Manhattan, the Knicks are the only NBA team that exists here to us.....LOL.

I went to 2 of the PJ gigs in Philly,in 2009 (10.28 and 10.30).EV was talking about the Philly-Yankee World Series game the whole time.He even had a woman come out, with a score card a few times.Nothin like being in the Lions Den (Philly) when you root for the away team....You seriously, have to watch your back at all times,if say,you have a Rangers jersey on.I had quite a few pieces of ice tossed at me and my group during the Classic,by drunk, disorderly Flyer fans. But,sad to say, that is expected of them.

  6. True.My bad.For some reason,I always associate that tune with TP.I guess cause he covered it.

I'm originally from the Niagara Region so I don't root for the Leafs - it's worse. You know your team is bad when its intials are BS.

At least Eddie (says he) enjoys playing in Buffalo.

This is insane. I'm a Die Hard Rangers fan! And unfortunately a mets fan lol. I'm so pissed cuz I have time Warner and I missed the last 2 games. Switching to direct tv tmrw! It seems we would get along pretty well!! LGR
  9. Am I the only one who after hearing Once, open Ten, feel like Star Spangled Banner should start playing after it? Imagine a Pearl Jam/U2 concert opening with Once, followed by Star Spangled Banner/Bullet The Blue Sky.
  10. Well, I have to admit I am getting used to hearing The Star Spangled Banner at the end of Yellow Ledbetter - happened a lot on the 2010 tour. Is there an example where you've heard it follow Once or do you just "feel it?"

Have to bands ever done a show like that? One band plays a song then the other plays a song and they alternate for X number of songs?
  11. It's just a feeling. When I hear it end I feel like Star Spangled Banner should start.
  12. ...and your not even American!
