  2. I love the 1998 tour. I am (once again) being a spoiled brat but wish they'd offically release all of these shows - or several of them, anyway.

    1998 has all the best songs and setlists - not too many covers and/or b-sides - just clean setlists full of classic PJ tunes. I appreciate that you (Ronnie) and Ed might disagree with me here - I'm still growing.

    Well, that's a very good question, and I don't know. It's been eating my life.

    I want to put it on now, but I have to study for the biology exam tomorrow. Fuck. Maybe later.

  10. Better Man is my favorite PJ song, and that will never change I'm afraid. I've now listened to a 60-70% of their discography and while many of their songs are absolutely awesome, none of them achieve the level of spine-tingling that Better Man does.


    I've also found myself a fan of their most quieter and "less-grunge" stuff. I mean, songs like Corduroy, Once or Even Flow are surely fantastic and I'm sure they're mental when played live, but I'd choose Breathe, Elderly Woman or Better Man (of course) above them any day. I guess I already have my "grunger-side-of-brain" filled with Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers songs
  11. That's one of the great things about PJ - they can be rocking out and a minute later be playing something soulful.
