    Thats what Im saying.It looks as if we will not get that full on,proper,tour anymore.

    2) Corduroy - Milan 06.22 the great Milan show...crowd and band are on fire..byond a MUST HAVE gig..one of the bands best ever...
    3) Grievance - Milan 06.22....solid rockin version
    4) Of The Girl - Katowice 06.16 N2 the infamous second night in Katowice.This was a last min show,as the band were supposed to play in Buddapest,but the show was cancelled.The band played a 2nd gig in Katowice to only a few thousand fans.The band had no setlist,and EV was calling songs out to the band after.A fantastic gig,MUST HAVE..

    6) Brain Of J - Katowice 06.15 N1 very good gig,but even close to N2 IMO....
    7) State Of Love And Trust - Salzburg 06.18 very good show,solid version here...
    8) Small Town - Milan 06.22 crowd is amazing..my favorite version hands down

    10) Daughter (ABITW/WMA) - Salzburg 06.18 really good version

    3 hrs...a solid mix of PJs gigs in Europe.Katowice 2,Milan,Verona,Berlin and Hamburg are must haves IMO.Salzburg is close,and for me it is a personal favorite,as I have visited that country many times,and love it.......for me,its a must have...grab it after listening to the 5 aforementioned shows...


  3. ^I'll use your suggestions to make a single three-CD collection (for now), then listen to all the gigs in their entirity (a few times each), and THEN go bigger.

  5. Well.. Cardiff (06.06) Salzburg (06.18) and Oslo (06.29) are also top gigs.Listen to the top 8 from Europe,then those 3.Cardiff is the best of those 3,IMO,followed by Salzburg.I don't want you or anyone else to OD on all the gigs.You are over a decade behind Matt....lol

For the last 10 days or so,I have been listening to the 1st leg,of the 2003 North American Tour.There are some really great shows from this leg.Its hard to know what shows to listen to,since there are so many released gigs to choose from.I have listened to basically every show the band have released since 2000.This took some time,but I have been a slightly over the top fan since the bands inception,so it really wasnt too hard to do.


    The first 2 that come to mind are Raleigh NC 04.15.03 and Charlotte NC 04.16.03.These 2 are above average,and the band are on fire.

    Another very popular show from that week,Atlanta,GA 04.19.03.Crown Of Thorns is performed,with Brendan O'Brien on keys.

    There are 5 classic standout MUST HAVE shows in April, after Atlanta.St Louis 04.22,Champaign 04.23,Pittsburgh 04.26,Philly 04.28 and Nassau 04.30.The Nassau gig had the infamous near riot,after EV came out wearing the Bush mask.I was at this great show,and it was not pretty,and I will leave it at that.......

    After the Nassau fiasco,the band played another 2 MUST HAVE stunning shows in Buffalo NY 05.02.03 (3CDs) and Penn State PA 05.03.03 (3CDs).Both shows are very long,but fantastic.Penn ST was released commercially.

  12. I listened to the Melbourne '98 gig this week. It's outstanding.
