Here's a wild mix,from the 1st leg of the 2003 North American Tour.The shows that I picked start in Raleigh,NC 04.15.,and finish in Nassau,NY 04.30.There was a "situation" when the band played Bu$hleaguer at Nassau.Listen to the "debate" as the fans (including yours truly) started chantin USA USA USA.....A tense moment,that I will never forget....The version on PJ20 is cut,so download the one from the Nassau boot (pearljambootlegs.org)

    Very immense list - the way I like them. I think I'll put Europe 2000 on the backburner for now and focus on 2003/Riot Act. I've heard quite a bit of Binaural of late. I'll still listen to the European shows that I downloaded but not worry about making any compilations for now - and I'm just about finished the NA one I've been mulling over the past couple of weeks. I am hoping to upload/post by the end of the weekend.

    Maybe fire in Corduroy? It may be overplayed but PJ's standards but its essential.

    It was either Corduroy or Last Exit,so both got the boot. ....Insignificance from Raleigh made it,solid version after Small Town....and I prefer Not For You over both Corduroy and Last Exit

    But I think having Blood,Not For You,Better Man,Black,Breath and Go end the main set,is a great way to represent early classic PJ......

  8. That is an excellent mix.No question.You combined the whole North American Tour.....on just 4 cd's.....impressive...

    There are 2 other great, must have gigs, from the 1st leg of the 2003 North American tour.Buffalo 05.02 and Penn State 05.03.These 2 gigs are both classic,and were so long, when released, needed 3 cd's each.

    I will have to (once again) re-edit my earlier mix ..these shows can not be left out....
  9. Listening to the Charlotte gig from 04.16.03...this really is a great gig and a Must Have.....Sometimes opens....Jeremy 5th,Nothing As It Seems...Even Flow...Immortality,...the Man trilogy...Breath,Go..great versions of Black & Alive....
  10. Just curios,why did you flip RITFW ahead of Soon Forget and Indifference from the DC gig 09.04 ?

    Also,were you able to edit Eds long speech after Alive from Seattle 2 ? He goes on and on there,that is why Seattle 2 needed 3 cds. If not,shouldnt Soon Forget follow ? He is playing small parts of it after Alive...
  11. I didn't realize that I did that until after everything was done - it was unintentional. All I can say is that the initial lists you gave me didn't include RITFW (you recommended this version later as well as a version of Fuckin' Up) and I thought I'd fire in back-to-back Neil Young songs late in the set. I hadn't noticed that the performance was from the same show as Soon Forget and Indifference. Maybe these two Uncle Neil songs could/should have come directly before (or after) Baba O'Riley. I MIGHT fix it.

    I did edit out EV's Alive speech. I did my best to leave in some of EV's talking (like the intro to Breath) but nothing too extensive as I wanted to save the room for the tunes.

    Looks like your mix will have to be FOUR CD's long - if you were to actually burn it, of course.
