1. There are a few sites with artwork..I'm out at the moment, when I get in I will look up the sites...I don't remember the site names off hand....

I don't burn any lists to cd really...they r on my iPod playlist,so I make them as long as I want...but I usually try to keep them under 3 1/2 hrs....not easy with PJ
  3. A great bootleg artwork site is www.pjbootstrading.org ..click on concerts, example being 2006,Toronto #1,click artwoks, then click on the small artwork listed on the left side..all the official artwork will appear....I used this site for all my 2005 and 2006 gigs. Those shows were only available in mp3 form from the 10club,and the artwork they sent was exactly the same as this sites artwork......

The artwork for 2000-03 gigs was never available on that site. But,another great site for 2000-2003 boots artwork is www.pjcollectors.com
  4. Nice post, Ed.

Those 2005 Canadian Tour boots had some funky artwork!

I didn't think you would. I just like a bit of an artifact of the tour - that's why I only do one big compilation as oppose to many small ones. I may "graduate" to your methodology one day. Too much to for me to listen to for the first time, however.

I plan to listen to some more of those 2010 shows and then get into 2003. Really want to get a better feel of that tour and the Riot Act album. Which leg is better; Spring or Summer?
  6. Not an easy choice, but I would have to say summer 2003.You have the 2 great MSG gigs, the 3 classic shows at Mansfield, plus 2 great gigs Camden,NJ and 2 more in Detroit.

East Troy, Chicago,Toronto and Montreal are also classic shows...

  7. I continue to rack my brain as to what I was doing (listening to) in 2003 that made be not consider going to this show.

I saw Radiohead (you may recall the original show in T.O. was postponed due to the electricity crisis) but that's about it.

Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I recently met my future wife! Yes, you may crack that whip.
  8. There were some serious shows in 03 Matt.Radiohead were on the road that summer.I went to Europe 2 times that year to see them.I saw my one (and only) Glastonbury show when Radiohead preformed in 03.Then I saw them at MSG in Oct,then went to the 2 classic Earls Court gigs that Nov.Those 2 shows were broadcast on the BBC,sound is great.

Chris (my Brit Friend) saw U2 @ Glastonbury, and had a ticket for me.I already had tickets to all 3 shows that weekend, for Dave Matthews Band in Atlantic City,NJ.My wife gave me "the look",and that was that. But I woulnt have gone anyway. You wont like this Matt, but Chris said everyone there @ Glastonbury, actually said Coldplay were much better than U2.I thought both were great, its a matter of opinion....

PJs 2 MSG shows....were just amazing.Listen to N2.July 9th,2003.Its just as good as N1 IMO....
  9. Pearl Jam's 5 star albums......its pretty easy....the 1st 3.....

No Code and Yeild sound much better live, and have 4 star material on them, but I feel, as stand alone studio albums, they are 3 1/2 stars.Binaural 3 stars,Riot Act 3 stars,Avocado 4 stars,Backspacer 4 stars.....but,what about the live releases....I will leave out most-some of the bootlegs

Live at the Orpheum 04.12.94..5 stars .brilliant ......love this cd..my copy looks worn out already...

    Live On Two Legs...5 stars. a classic..from '98...

Milan 06.22.00.....5 STARS...the best from Europe IMO

Seattle 11.06.00...5 stars..this one sold better than any of the 2000 boots,so it must be listed, even though I feel other shows were better..(Chicago ?)

    Touring Band DVD...5 stars

Live At The Garden DVD/NYC-MSG 07.08.03 CD... ...5 stars

    Live At Benaroya Hall.....5 stars

Live at the Gorge 05/06..5 STARS....brilliant release

Imagine In Cornice - Italy 06 5 stars

Live in Philly 10.31.09 5 stars. ..a classic....

Live at MSG 05.21.10 5 STARS. a classic gig

PJ20 - DELUXE VERSION....5 STARS. ...the live material is fantastic on the extra discs....

Live in Toronto 09.11.11..5 STARS..another classic show....
  10. Your just being nice to me with that last one, aren't you? It's a brilliant show, however, and I agree.

    Like your suggestions.

Ten, Vs, and Vitalogy are indeed 5-star albums.
No Code gets a generous 3.5 stars
Yield gets a stingy 4 stars (it`s got a special place in my heart)
Binaural gets a stingy 3.5 stars
    Riot Act gets 4 stars
    Avocado gets 3 stars
Backspacer ...3 might be stingy but 3.5 is generous.

    Remember: 3 stars means "good"

What would you give Live on Ten Legs?
  11. Ten legs is a very good release. But,IMO,its really for the casual fan.It has shows from 2003-2010.Unlike 2 Legs, which is still the only, official release from 1998.

The 09.11.11 gig is fantastic Matt.Im still shocked it was released for free, and still no cd version available.
  12. Backspacer 3 stars !!??!!..lol...I think you might want to re-listen..lol

The End and Just Breathe are so great for me.It was such a relevant release for the band.Yeild was the last PJ album that made a lil noise.
