So true. It just goes to show you that it doesn't matter how old you are or when the songs were recorded, good music is good music.

  2. I actually like the studio version. Its a very interesting story,as to how the song was recorded.EV hated it,and wanted the song cut.OBrien recorded a different intro, with Vedder on guitar, and himself on keys.It was then mixed in with the original version.

I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but when it comes down to the 'Better Man' performance at Madison Square Garden in 2010, that shows the connection of the crowd. That is the best performance of that song and the crowd are amazing - singing in harmony and everything.

Is that show available on pjbootlegs.org? I've only found 3 MSG shows: 98 (twice) and 08... And the 2008 rendition of Better Man is not particullarly amazing: http://www.pearljambootlegs.org/modules/jinzora2/index.php?nuCU0sannA%3D%3D=ZpZlmpRlZGdvYZFuYJhoWYaXm83Y0adQuKqmkqbLWaqV2JnH019UhZyrgZGi2J5lWYSQkIW3jHGFlHKGeMM%3D&ext.html
