  1. They're due for an album this year - 2000, 2003 (well, late-2002), 2006, 2009, 2012...

    I guess the band might not see it this way. I guess they'll just have to have more "vault" releases.
  2. I don't know why they wouldn't release one in the last quarter, sounds like they're getting there. Could be early 2013 though.
  3. So I just downloaded a bunch of Apri/early-May 2003 boots from pearljambootlegs.org. They include:
    Albany
    State College
    Buffalo
    Uniondale
    St. Louis
    Champaign
    Raleigh
    Atlanta
    Philly

    Did I miss any "MUST HAVES?"

    From now on, EDDMB's "MUST HAVE's" will be know as "Ed-Man" concerts. Not that I am calling you a simian, of course.


  4. You may be right. I thought I heard they were working one some new material. I wonder if they'll be going in any sort of new direction - not Radiohead new direction - but something more folsky, punk-driven, etc.

    Not only working on, but recording etc.
  6. Also if that State College bootleg is the one I think it is, its pretty much the end-all-be-all of PJ shows. It was the first one ever given to me, deemed one of the best EVER.
  7. I've only listened to the July shows from 2003 so I am looking forward to diving into these ones and ones from June.

  10. i also think it could come out in the first half of next year. that because of the delay of the Soundgarden album in the fall of 2012.
    also having Matt busy at this release i don't think they will put out both the albums too much close.
    like i said it's a great thing having both bands still on the run but it gives "drawbacks" sometimes

  12. Ok, I'm gonna act like a complete newbie (what I am, lol) and ask you:

    Would any of you be so kind to make a list of the 6-8 best bootlegs to me? Don't have any era or year or country preferred. Just a kind of mashup of factors like the best setlists, the best audiences and the best performances. As if you recommended me the Point Depot shows, 1993-08-28 Dublin and the likes....
