That's the beauty of the editing software!

  2. Nice list. I'm looking forward to getting to those shows but I have been (still am) listening to the two NC shows from 2003. They are very good. I will move on to Atlanta and St. Louis next. I am only doing Ed-Man shows for now.

So Ed, no "Save You" on you list? I recall you said you didn't like it as much as the others but ... hey, it's your mix.

One of the things about so many of the more-recent, great multi-night/set perfromances that disappoints me is the classic "Immortality" often gets left out by the band. It wasn't played in the two nights you just lists, not played at MSG in 2010, not played in Toronto in 2011, heck it wasn't played at all over five nights in Italy in 2006. Anyway, it should be played more often. It is one of their best.

  3. I was never wild about Save You,Get Right or Green Disease.I like Ghost and Cropduster more, and I only kept in Green Disease here because it runs right into NFY.

Take your time with the spring 03 shows.Philly and Pitt will need many a listen....

I agree 100% with Immortality. They did play it at my show in Newark (05.18).Maybe make a NY/NJ mix ? The Newark show had quite a few rare tunes played that night.
  4. agree they should play it a little bit more often but on the other hand for me its rarity contributes to increase its special aura .. like Bad
in Verona 06 it was soundchecked .. and take a look at what sort of soundcheck it had been...
Immortality (acustica), Immortality (elettrica), Naked Eye (The Who), Parachutes, U, Alone (strumentale), Education, Inside Job, Gone, M.F.C., Sometimes (solo il riff iniziale), Around The Bend, Long Road (solo il riff iniziale), Picture In A Frame (solo qualche strofa). Can't Keep (Acustica)

amazing day since afternoon that day!!!

Yeah, the Immortality in Immagine in Cornice was really nice (I've said this before). I didn't realize they checked "Can't Keep." Love that one!

They do they "run right into" Not For You a lot, don't they? Lukin, Setting Forth, Green Disease, ...
  7. I like Lukin>Not For You the best...and my favorite version of those 2 is Austria 06.18.00....

EV played Immortality at my Beacon gig,N2 06.22.11.....great version...maybe I will hear it at one of the Lauderdale gigs...Im actually gettin away for that weekend with my wife....beach all day for her,EV at night for me....
  8. ...Ed hungover in bed all day....
  9. ...hungover at beach all day.....lol
  10. good point.

  11. If you have to be hung over somewhere...Lauderdale is the place for that....

Have you listened to the Philly or Pitt 03 gigs yet ???
  12. No. I've just listened to the Atlanta one sporadically throughout the day. Tomorrow I plan to give St. Louis and good listen then move onto Champaign - I believe you said that one was a good one.

I've noticed that they used a lot of fading in/out between main sets and encores in the earlier (2003 anyway) gigs. For the newer ones, it seems to keep going (aside from the transition from disc 1 to disc 2). Do they edit the time between encores? It always seems so short on the 2010/2011 shows.
