    How many PJ shows exactly have you seen? I have a good idea of what they are but I'd to see it in one list!

  3. I didn't realize that PJ had opened for U2 during the ZooTV tour - I only got Primus (meh). Is that where/when your "avatar" image is from?
  4. yeah they opened there and in Rome if i'm not wrong .. i guess the pic was taken in one of those days .. not by me unluckily hehehe
  5. i can't remember if this one has been reported yet but anyway .. another "Ed-man" bootleg from 1995 for me (quite "short" but great indeed).

  6. ^I had a look at that setlist - very interesting that none of Jeremy, Alive, or Even Flow were played that night (nor the following night at the same venue). Although it was a few years on after Ten was released, I wonder if this was done purposely in order to "challenge" their fanbase.
  7. clear example that classics are not necessary everytime to make a great concert
  8. I have come to the conclusion that Pearl Jam (along with U2 and Radiohead) have too many "classics" to be played in a 25 to 30-song concert. Without listing them all, PJ would have to play over 40 songs in a single night for them to play all of their essential tunes.

  9. sort of last night at the Spectrum in 2009 every night .. 40 songs played .. not all classics though .. some Bugs in there too

Ron,you saw some great early gigs.I have seen PJ 26 times.It would have been more,but early on, Vedder made it impossible, to see PJ in NYC,as he and the band faught Ticketmaster.I finally saw the band April 17th,1994 at the Paramount (inside MSG).You had to win tickets,and a friend of mine did just that..I will also rate my favorite Top 10 shows that I have been to....

    1) 04.17.1994 NYC Paramount after waiting 3 yrs,Finally... PJ live !!!!....great gig,Dave Abbruzzese last show with the band..a shame,he was great..A Top 5 gig hands down for me....#2.........PJ..1994...RVM opens ???..nuff said...
    2) 09.29.96 NYC Randalls Island I almost didnt go to this show.A 3 hr classic......I hated No Code,but then loved the songs live ..band still fighting Ticketmaster..I remember saying.."What the hell am I doin out here '???...Oasis were my band at this time.....Top 10 gig ?...yes #8
    3) 09.10.98 NYC MSG The boys finally play MSG.....great gig,Top 10 ??? yes.. #9
    4) 09.11.98 NYC MSG THE show alot of hardcore PJ fans say on the PJ.com forums.....a classic...Top 5 ?..no question...#4
    5) 05.25.00 Barcelona my first European PJ gig..great time.....

    Those are my shows.I have seen U2 43 times.Not bad,considering the band didnt tour America in 1989/90,and went 5 years from 1987-1992,and 1992-1997 without touring here.
