Feel free to post your mix any time you'd like. I will copy and "archive" it for later mixing of my own. However, I plan to simply stick with the April 2003 shows for now and make a compilation of that eventually. I was listening to the Champaign gig (first half, anyway) this morning while I shovelled snow. It is indeed a solid show!

I think you were right about the 2000 mixes - I should have at least done a 3- or 4-CD mix for each leg instead of just one for both. Oh, well. Something for me to do another time.

Told you about Champaign...lol...for years thats been a very top rated show...

When you have so many gigs to chose from,its very hard to make such a short mix.Thats why I do Leg mixes....or mixes from 1 city or country..example being 2 Nights in Canada 03

I agree. In fact, my first attempts last fall were the 2000 London, 2000 Seattle, 2003 Mexico, 2006 Leeds/Reading, and 2006 Italy. The thing was I tried to compress it all onto two CD's, whick was okay, but either essential songs were sacrificed (e.g.,"Not For You" in Mexico or "Wishlist" in Italy) or they weren't played at all (e.g., "Jeremy" in London, "I Got Shit" in Seattle, "Indifference" in Mexico, or "Immortality" in Italy). I'm still looking for that magical (small) set of shows that has my own "essential" 40 or so songs - it's probably out there somewhere, I just haven't looked closely enough. In any case, I'll probably need three "discs" to make the perfect compilation. Until then, it's show by show - and that's turning out to be a good thing.

I have downloaded 12 of the 23 Spring 2003 shows - I think you recommended all/most of them, Ed. I've listen to six of them so far (Charlotte, Raleigh, Atlanta, St. Louis, Champaign, and Cleveland). I still have the three shows each in the States of NY and Penn to go. Are the others (Colorado, Oklahoma, TexasX2, FloridaX3, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee) worth the "effort" or do these twelve have me "covered?"

The Champaign gig is very good. Lots of covers near the end - great to hear since it brings (even more) variety to the setlists - especially since we get all of the shows. However, if I was an attendee of a PJ show like this one, I have to admit that I would rather hear original songs (aside from maybe Crazy Mary, Baba O'Riley, or RITFW) than songs originally written and performed by other bands.

EV loves his cover tunes...Pete or Neil...he feels they are the BEST...and that's it...I do agree with you though Matt.

As far as the other gigs,just listen to the shows I listed a while back.Its too much to listen to right off.Don't forget Buffalo and Penn State after Philly,Pitt and Nassau.

BTY Matt,..Coldplay just killed it at the Grammys....they sounded great...IMO of course...lol.
