1. Finished the Pitt show last night. I liked how he admitted he prefers to close a set with "Blood" as it's hard on his voice (and then he made a Pittsburgh joke about his vocal chords being made of steel). Then he went on to admit that "Down" should have made it onto Riot Act - heck, I think they play it ore often than any song on that album aside from the three singles.

The rest of the show is great - had forgotten how well he performs "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away." Nice to get a rear playing of "Footsteps."

I think I'll listen to this show again before moving on to Philly.
  2. This is maybe a a day or two old (you guys can be hard to keep up with) but Eddie added a Memphis date to his tour, at the legendary Orpheum Theater.
  3. "the next Pearl Jam album is still in the formative stage", adding the band is "not sure what it's going to be yet".

  4. Well, no one want them to rush it and release an uninspired record. This is a big one - #10.
  5. they could be called it One then hehe

    Well played....

Let's hope it's not a countdown, however, and this is it.

What's the date for that? I might go.
  10. May 1
  11. Wow. I might actually be able to go. Is it worth seeing even if I've never seen the whole band? Or should I see PJ first?
  12. If you can, just go. With all due respect, don't overthink it. From what I've read, you'll hear a lot of PJ songs (some classics, some rarities), anyway, just in a different form.

Be sure to bring recording equipment with you.

    Kidding.
